Our production team installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system and our TripleSafe sump pump. Water is now properly guided through the drainage system, into the sump pump, and then expelled from the home through the discharge line. A homeowner in Hixton, WI was tired of dealing with the sunken walkway in front of their garage. The concrete had sunk over 3 inches and it created a large trip hazard. They saw a commercial for American Waterworks and gave us a call. They were pleased to learn that PolyLevel could raise their concrete and that it is a more efficient and affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair.

One of our PolyLevel experts, Jared Wroblewski, drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where the PolyLevel foam would be injected. He then injected the foam until the cement was once again level with the garage. Lastly, he filled the cracks of the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant, and the job was the complete. The process only took a couple of hours, and now the homeowner does not have to worry about sinking concrete for years to come!

A homeowner in Hixton, MN, was distressed after discovering water sitting on their basement floor. Wanting someone to visit their home immediately, the homeowner frantically looked for a solution. After hearing about our quick response time, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After arranging the appointment with our Appointment Specialist, the homeowner prepared for Mac, one of our Design Specialists, to arrive. Once Mac arrived, he began his investigation to find the source of the issue. When Mac completed the inspection, he determined that the entire basement needed to be waterproofed, and the foundation needed to be stabilized. Mac told the homeowner about these findings and provided them with a recommended plan. The homeowner agreed with these recommendations and production began. Once a crew was assigned, they traveled to the home to start production. After they arrived, they began by installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew shifted their focus to digging a feedline to connect to the newly installed TripleSafe sump pump. Finally, the crew moved their focus to installing CarbonArmor strips along the north wall. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Tammy E. in Houston, MN had water seeping into her basement through cracks in the floor. She also noticed a foul smell and some rust-colored stains. She contacted American Waterworks, and we sent our Design Specialist, Mike Radosevich, to her home to evaluate her situation. He discovered that Tammy had a buildup of iron ochre in her old sump pump. He explained that it is not a known health hazard but can quickly clog a French drain system. He presented her with our WaterGuard IOS Perimeter Drain Channel, which is ideal for managing this problem. Tammy was impressed with Mike’s presentation and our products and moved forward with an installation date. 

Our Foreman, Austin Lucas, and his production crew were able to permanently waterproof Tammy’s basement by installing 209 feet of our WaterGuard IOS System. The wide-open design of the drain helps it resist clogs, while a removable lid allows for easy access and maintenance. Then, the crew installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. The WaterGuard properly drains water to the sump pump and from there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Tammy was impressed with the installation, and is happy knowing that her problem is solved and her basement is dry!
