Kevin L. in Galesville, WI had dealt with a wet basement for the last 40 years, and he was finally tired of it. He did his research and learned that American Waterworks has been the leading waterproofing contractor in the region for the last 30 years. He met with one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, who evaluated the situation and designed a unique solution. 

Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew were able to successfully waterproof Kevin’s basement by installing 160 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system and our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. The WaterGuard French drain is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. This keeps this drainage system out of the "mud zone", where drains can clog. Kevin is happy he found a permanent solution to protect his home. 

Lesley E. in Trempealeau, WI had 3 concrete slabs on her sidewalk up to the house that had become uneven and had started to chip.  She wanted to find a non-invasive and affordable way to repair the concrete so she started researching contractors in her area. She came across American Waterworks and was interested in learning more about our PolyLevel foam concrete repair solution. She was pleased to learn that PolyLevel is a faster and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair, while still being durable, so she set a date for the installation. One of our PolyLevel experts, Jared Wroblewski, drilled penny-size holes into the concrete slabs where he needed to inject the foam. He then injected the foam until the concrete was raised and leveled back to its original position. Lastly, he filled the cracks with our Nexus Pro sealant. The entire process took about two hours, and now Lesley can enjoy a level front porch and walkway for years to come!

William and Joan M. of Trempealeau, WI had water leaking into their basement through their walls, causing them to worry about water moisture and damp mold growth. They had American Waterworks do work for them before, so it wasn't a tough decision for them regarding what contractor to go with. Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which collects water seepage from basement walls, prevents water clogs, and serves as an underground drainage system. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold growth and serve as an extra wall protectant. To complete the project, Raul and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. William and Joan had a remarkable experience from start to finish!

Marylyn M. of Trempealeau, WI had water coming into her basement through the holes in her walls during heavy rains. She was nervous about the problems occurring enough to the point it would damage her property. She called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman. Chuck went to her home, carefully inspected the problems in her basement, and drew up some options that would cure the problem. Next, our team installed our FoamMax HalfWall Panels around the wall perimeter. Our FoamMax is a special foam insulation that provides comfort and saves energy bills while making the basement look neat and bright. To complete the installation, Tremaine and his crew covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. Marylyn was happy with the new view of her basement!
