Basement Waterproofed and Window Replaced in River Falls, WI

Kathy W. of River Falls, WI had water leaking from her windows into her basement, and she wanted to get it fixed up before she began the moving stage. A realtor referred American Waterworks to her for our basement waterproofing repair products. She called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Mac Cole. Mac went to her home, inspected her basement and windows, and drew out a detailed plan that Kathy could understand. She was confident in Mac's proposal, so she went ahead with the project.

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the process by cutting out the pre-existing window and replacing it with our EverLast Basement Window. These special windows are energy-efficient, vinyl-framed, and double-paneled and are made to replace outdated wood-framed windows. Next, our crew broke out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water seepage from basement walls. Lastly, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold or humidity build-up and cover any holes or divots in the wall. To complete the project, Juan and his crew covered the open gaps with rock, flattened them out, and replaced the concrete. Kathy was and still is a satisfied customer!

Teri and Joel of River Falls, WI had water leaking into their basement and from one of their foundation walls. They did some research online and came across American Waterworks. They called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to their home, examined their basement, and came up with a solution that fit their needs. Teri and Joel were confident in the design, so they moved forward with the project.

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team began the project by taking down the exterior wall, so only the interior foundation wall was present. The reason behind this was because the exterior wall was capturing moisture and causing water condensation problems. Next, our team broke out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to collect water seepage from basement walls and serve as an underground drainage system. To complete the project, Kiko and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Teri and Joel were both satisfied and grateful we were able to help them!

Waterproofing in Owatonna, MN

Bill S. in Owatonna, MN had water leaking into his basement where the floor met the wall. It had started to create a musty smell, and he wanted a permanent solution. After a friend recommended American Waterworks, he gave us a call and set up an appointment to meet with Chad Johnson, one of our Design Specialists. Chad worked side-by-side with Bill to design a unique solution for his home. Bill was impressed with the plan and moved forward with an installation date.

Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. WaterGuard is our recommended and most widely used drain system. It's popular because of its resistance to clogs, its easy-to-access service ports, and its ability to also collect leaking water from the basement walls. Then, the crew connected the WaterGuard to a SuperSump sump pump and hung our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls for a bright, clean look. Bill was pleased with the results and glad he no longer has to worry about a wet, unhealthy basement!
