This drain functions to collect water from the CleanSpace, as well as water coming up through holes or cracks in the floor, giving the water a channel to flow freely to a disposal site. Daniel did notice that the basement lacked a means of expelling water, so he recommended the installation of our TripleSafe sump pump. Derek noticed the lack of drainage from the basement itself and urged the homeowner to add one because of the large amount of water entering the space. Derek recommended our SuperSump sump pump, an effective and economical solution. Then, the crew installed the drainage matting and CleanSpace on the floors and walls. Next, the crew installed foamax on the block walls. Finally, spray foam was inserted into the rim joist. The crew successfully encapsulated the entire crawl space. The homeowners were thankful that the musty smell had been removed from the basement.
