Ryan went to Marvin's home, inspected his space for an Egress Window, and provided him with a bid. Marvin was confident in the proposal, so he moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew began the install by breaking out the space for the window. Once that was completed, our crew went about the Egress Window installation. Lastly, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier alongside the entire wall to prevent water from coming in and to save money on energy costs. Our Egress Window provides light and fresh air to the room while providing a safe exit out of the basement.

Brain B. of Le Center, MN had water seeping into his basement and his foundation wall was cracking. Both problems were causing him to worry about the safety and value of his home. While searching for local contractors on Google, he came across American Waterworks. He called our office line and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Jared. Jared went to Brain's home, took a look at the water leaks and his foundation, and wrote out a plan of our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, and our Wall Anchor System. Our Foreman, Raul, and his team started the installation by installing our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is made to prevent mud clogs and catch water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the basement wall perimeter, which is designed to prevent mold and humidity, save money on energy bills, and it gives the basement a clean appearance. Lastly, our team installed our Wall Anchors over the CleanSpace to straighten the walls and pull them back to their natural position. To complete the installation, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them, ensuring the space was neat and clean. One of our Design Specialists went to his home to inspect his basement and design a solution. We recommended that he have our full waterproofing system installed in his basement to ensure that his basement would be permanently waterproofed. Our production team started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they laid the WaterGuard drainage system and installed the sump pump. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. The installation took our crew one full day, and Pell will now be able to enjoy a dry basement for many years to come. He is glad he chose to invest in the protection of his home.
