PowerBrace and GeoLocks Install in Viroqua, WI

A homeowner in Viroqua, WI, knew they had a large repair job on their hands. Overwhelmed by all the issues with their foundation, the homeowner knew they needed to have a professional inspect their home. The homeowner remembered seeing an American Waterworks vehicle in their neighborhood, so they went to our website to do some more research into our company. After seeing all the services we provide, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Chuck, to the home to complete the estimate. When Chuck arrived, he began his inspection of the basement and found several issues. Chuck's main concern was the status of the home's foundation. After alerting the homeowner, he provided them with a solution that would permanently stabilize their foundation. Chuck recommended installing GeoLocks and PowerBraces around the perimeter of the basement. The homeowner agreed with Chuck's recommendations, so the plans were directed to our Foreman, Luis, and his crew. After the crew arrived at the home, they immediately began their work. First, the crew installed 20 GeoLock anchors around the basement. Then, the crew installed four PowerBraces on the east foundation wall. The crew successfully installed all the foundation stabilization products, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed by the excellent work done by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to stabilize another home's foundation.

Cracked Foundation Repaired with Channel Anchor System

Robert K. in Cashton, WI had several cracks in the walls in his basement and was concerned about the pressure that was being put on his foundation. He started looking into foundation repair contractors and was glad to learn that American Waterworks is the leading contractor in foundation repair in the region. We sent our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, to his home to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution to fit his needs and goals. Robert approved of the plan and moved forward with an installation date.

Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and production crew got to work installing our Geo-Lock Channel Anchor System. They started the process by drilling small holes through the brick wall for long metal rods to be inserted. The rods are then stabilized on each end with a channel anchor. The Channel Anchor System provides a permanent solution for bowing, buckling, tilting, or inward-moving foundation walls that are demonstrating signs of extreme wall failure. This solution includes a channel anchor that mounts on the foundation floor and wall for optimal bracing and failure protection. Robert can rest easy knowing that his foundation is now permanently stabilized.

Push Piers Installed in Sparta, WI

Diane B. in Sparta, WI contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our commercials on TV. She noticed her garage floor was uneven, and she feared the problem was only going to get worse. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Brian Ramirez, to meet with Diane and evaluate the situation. After his inspection, Brian recommended our Foundation Push Pier System to provide a permanent solution to her settlement issue.

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew started the installation by excavating the soil surrounding the home where the foundation had started settling until they reached the bottom of the footings. Then, they secured brackets under the footings and inserted the piers until they hit competent, supportive soil. The piers transfer the weight of the home to the supportive soil, preventing further settlement. The crew wrapped up the project with installing our frost protection system to protect against frost damage. Then, they replaced the soil and cleaned up their work area. Diane was happy she chose to invest in the stability of her home, and we are glad we could restore her peace of mind!
