A homeowner from Sparta, WI, was down in his basement one day when he noticed that his wall seemed to be bowing inward. Chuck got right to work evaluating the basement. When he concluded, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. A Sparta, WI homeowner noticed their foundation walls were uneven and cracked. Worried about the long-term damage, the homeowner sought a permanent solution. After the project date arrived, our Foreman, Jose, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First. Jose and his crew made sure the walls were ready for installation. Once the walls were ready, Jose and his crew installed five GeoLock Wall Anchors to the north wall. After the GeoLock Wall Anchors were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is delighted to assist their homeowner in repairing their damaged walls. 

Steve and Kerry S. of Coon Valley, WI had a big crack in the foundation wall of their garage, causing them to worry about its structural build and stability. They saw one of our advertisements in their local newspaper so they called our office line to schedule a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to their home, examined their wall, and drew up the solution of our GeoLock Wall Anchor Repair System. Steve and Kerry got all of their questions answered about the product, so they went ahead with the project and scheduled a date for the installation. 

Our Foreman and his production team began the installation by digging holes outside of the home, beyond the foundation. From the inside of the garage, our team inserted long, metal rods from the inside foundation to each hole outside of the house. On the ends of each rod, our team installed an anchor plate that holds the rod in place in the soil. Next, our team installed a GeoLock Wall Anchor at the end of each rod on the interior foundation. This process stops inward movement and cracking, and allows the foundation to move back into its original position. To complete the installation, our Foreman and his team backfilled each hole outside of the home, compacted the soil, and ensured that the yard and garage looked neater than when they found it. Scott from Bangor, WI had severe cracks in his foundation and his basement walls were caving in, causing Scott to worry about the structural integrity of his barn. This issue with his foundation caused water to enter the farm's basement, making the soil wet and unstable for the barn. Scott then got in contact with the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks to claim his FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Dustin Loftus. Dustin went to his farm and did a thorough inspection and get a proper diagnosis of the situation to help Scott. Once the situation was carefully inspected, Dustin proposed that the solution for the damaged wall was the installation of our GeoLock Wall Anchors. Scott was confident in the proposal and scheduled an installation date right away. 

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production team then began the project by stabilizing the wall to prevent the wall from further caving in during the process of installation. The production crew then drilled 6 holes through the foundation into the hard-packed soil to install the six GeoLocks that are needed. At the end of each rod was a GeoLock Anchor which helps stabilize and straighten the foundation wall. Once the GeoLocks had been placed and secured, the production team then dug the soil to expose the exterior of the failing wall and be able to waterproof the failing wall to prevent water from seeping through. Once finished with this process. the production team then patched and sealed the cracks on the failing wall. 

Scott was very satisfied with the work done and was not worried that the foundation of his barn would cave in!!

From the interior foundation, Tremaine and his crew inserted a long, steel rod through to each hole outside of the home. At the ends of each rod, our crew installed an anchor and a wall plate which provides the pressure to make the system work. Our anchors extend out to the hard-packed soil, anchoring themselves and bracing the foundation wall, which stops inward movement. Over time, our anchors can be tightened by the homeowner to ensure the system is sticking to its design. To complete the installation, Tremaine and his team backfilled each hole, compacted the soil, and ensured the outdoor space was neater than when they found it.
