Ian went to her home, examined the leaks, and drew out the solution of our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain and our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier. Diane was confident and got all of her questions answered, so she moved forward with the project, and signed the contract. 

Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. Inside the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain, which serves as an underground drain, collects water seepage from basement walls, and prevents mud and water clogs. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is made to prevent mold and mildew, give the basement a nice and clean appearance, and is flexible enough to cover any uneven surfaces or abnormal walls. To complete the installation, Ryan and his crew covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them to ensure the spae looked better than when they found it. Diane was thrilled with the work that was done!

Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's house, carefully inspected their problems, and proposed a solution that would work for them and their needs. Our Foreman and his crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, TrenchDrain with Trench Lock, as well as concrete replacement. Our WaterGuard serves as an interior drainage system that collects water leakage from basement walls and guides water to the sump pump. Our CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that prevents water from seeping through the walls and saves money on energy costs. Our TrenchLock is a system that blocks unwanted ground air and gasses from entering the basement. Lastly, our crew applied new concrete over the broken-out concrete to ensure the basement was neater and cleaner than they found it.

Following his discoveries, Kole determined the basement needed to be fully waterproofed. He presented his findings to the homeowner and provided them with a solution. The homeowner agreed with Kole's recommendations, then the plans were sent to the office to be finalized. After they were approved, they were sent to our Foreman, Franklin, and his crew. to begin the project. As soon as Franklin and his crew arrived, they began the installation. First, they started by installing WaterGuard around the entire basement perimeter. Next, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe. Following the TripleSafe installation, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Finally, the crew installed an IceGuard attachment on the outside discharge line. The crew completed the waterproofing project, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. A local church in Emerado, ND, was completing annual inspections when they discovered their foundation was struggling. Worried this could cause major, long-term damage, the homeowner searched for professional assistance. During their search, the homeowner came across the best foundation repair company in North Dakota, American Waterworks. The homeowner took a closer look at the projects we have serviced and knew we were the company for their job. After signing up for their FREE estimate, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ian, to complete the project. Ian arrived at the church and began his detailed inspection. Once he completed the inspection, Ian found several issues regarding the foundation and crawl space. Ian recommended permanently stabilizing the foundation and fully encapsulating the crawl space. Knowing these fixes were necessary, the church agreed with Ians' suggestions. Once they were approved by the office, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Kingsley, and his crew. After they received the stamp of approval, the crew traveled to the home and began the project. Kingsley and his crew started by cleaning out all the debris from the crawl space. Once the debris was cleared, the crew installed 36 SmartJacks throughout the crawl space. Next, the crew put seven GeoLock Wall Anchors into place. The crew shifted their focus to encapsulating the crawl space. First, the crew began by installing Draintile around the perimeter and interior foundation. Then, the crew installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump in the western corner of the crawl space. Next, the crew placed Drainage Matting on the floor and installed CleanSpace over top. Additionally, CleanSpace was installed on several columns and obstructions throughout the crawl space. Once the CleanSpace was installed, the crew installed Foamax on the perimeter walls and over the openings in the foundation. The crew successfully installed all the products throughout the crawl space, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The church was relieved to know their foundation was permanently stabilized and the crawl space was properly encapsulated. American Waterworks is happy to provide its customers peace of mind.
