Crawl Space Waterproofing in Plainview, MN

Vern K. in Plainview, MN noticed a musty smell coming from his crawl space. When he looked for what was causing the smell, he noticed that there was a lot of moisture in his crawl space. He was concerned about the air quality of his home and about the potential damage the moisture could cause.

He saw one of our advertisements on TV and saw that we are able to waterproof and encapsulate crawl spaces. He wanted to have a professional look at it so he gave us a call and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Dustin Loftus, to his home to do a free onsite estimate and create a solution to his problem.

Our production team installed a full perimeter of rim joist insulation which seals the rim joists and lowers Vern's energy costs. They also installed drainage matting and our CleanSpace vapor barrier. The combination of these crawl space waterproofing and encapsulation products turned Vern's crawl space into a dry, clean and energy efficient part of the house.

Dirt Crawl Space Encapsulated in Elkton, MN

Ron H. in Elkton, MN had a musty smell coming from his dirt crawl space. He also noticed that it was very humid and he was concerned that energy was being lost through the crawl space. He saw a commercial for American Waterworks and was interested to learn more about our crawl space encapsulation services, so he contacted us for a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists went to his home to inspect his crawl space and develop a solution. We were able to confirm that there was quite a bit of moisture accumulating in his crawl space which was causing the musty smell. We also confirmed that energy was being wasted because his crawl space was not insulated. We presented him with an encapsulation plan and he was pleased with the proposal, so he scheduled a date for the project.

Our production team installed drainage matting along the dirt floor and installed our SuperSump sump pump in the corner of the crawl space. Then, they encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier system which protects the space from moisture and potential mold growth. Lastly, they placed a SaniDry dehumidifier in the crawl space to control the humidity. The process took a couple of days to complete, but Ron now has a bright, clean and healthy crawl space. He is also saving money on his energy bill each month.

Next, our team applied 100 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System over the Carbon Armor, designed as an extra protectant and made to prevent exposure to mold and humidity.
