Cracked Garage Floor Repaired in Eleva, WI

Barbara G. in Eleva, WI was unhappy with her uneven and cracked garage floor. She wanted it completely level and to have the cracks sealed. After researching concrete repair contractors and receiving estimates, she decided to have American Waterworks repair her concrete.

Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete to inject a polymer foam called PolyLevel. Once the foam is injected into the concrete, the foam expands and raises it. They injected the foam into multiple spots in the floor until the concrete was raised and level to its original position. Then, they sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant to protect the concrete and give it a nice, finished look. The process only took a couple of hours, and Barabara was very pleased with the results!

Concrete Sidewalk Saved in Cadott, WI

A homeowner in Cadott, WI, did not like the appearance of the sidewalk in front of their home. Instead of letting the issue continue, the homeowner began looking into their concrete repair options. The homeowner wanted to avoid total concrete replacement, so they tried to narrow their search to concrete repair near them. After doing research into their options, the homeowner's eye was caught by our lifting and leveling services. After seeing we offer FREE estimates, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for theirs. Once the appointment was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Romeo, one of our Design Specialists. When Romeo arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began the detailed estimate. Romeo determined the sidewalk was sinking due to soil settlement and recommended that it be lifted and leveled using the PolyLevel. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Romeo's recommendations. The plans were sent to the assigned crew and production commenced. Our crew arrived at the home and began the lifting and leveling process. First, the crew lifted the sidewalk in front of the home. Once the sidewalk was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to the driveway apron. The crew successfully lifted all the affected areas, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the wonderful work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to assist the homeowner in resolving their concrete issues.

Sinking Front Stairs Get Lifted in St. Charles, MN

Jill from St. Charles, MN, gave us a call when she began to notice that the stairs in front of her home were beginning to sink, creating a gap between the concrete stairs and the slab below. She was afraid that if she didn't address the issue she would run the risk of a tripping hazard forming, potentially costing more to fix later down the road. When she called in she was able to use her FREE estimate, which entitled her to a 3-hour inspection into the issue by one of our Design Specialists from our concrete and radon division. Once he arrived at the property he did his walkthrough, and when completed, made recommendations as to how we could help Jill. Our Design Specialists wanted to use our PolyLevel to lift and level the slab. He explained to Jill that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that, when injected below a concrete slab, fills the gaps caused by soil erosion and raises and stabilizes the concrete surface. To finish the project, he recommended Jill allow us to use our NexusPro joint and crack sealant. He informed Jill that our NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions, ensuring that your concrete will be kept safe from unwanted moisture. Jill gave the green light and work began shortly after. Our Production crew, led by Foreman Ben K., began the process by strategically drilling holes into the concrete slabs, and then injected the foam into the holes. They closely monitored the lifting and leveling process to ensure that the slab returned to its former state. To finish the project, they went over all cracks and joints between the house and the concrete with our NexusPro. When the work had been completed, Jill was happy to know that the potential tripping hazard had been dealt with.
