A homeowner in Waumandee, WI, noticed multiple signs of water damage, such as mold growth, seeping water, and musty odors. Concerned that it would lead to further damage to her home, the homeowner decided to look into basement waterproofing services in the area. The homeowner then contacted us to schedule her FREE estimate.

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Mac C., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Mac explained to the homeowner that a failed footing drain is one of the most common causes of water damage. When this fails, water saturates the soil around the foundation and enters between the footing and the wall. To fix this issue, Mac recommended WaterGuard, our below-the-floor perimeter drain system, CleanSpace, our vapor wall barrier that prevents water from permeating the walls and directs any leads to the drain system, SuperSump+, our elite sump pump system capable of removing 2,200 gallons of water per hour, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the pipes freeze. The homeowner happily agreed to Mac's recommendations and scheduled the installation date.

In about a month, our Foreman, Luis D., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew installed 60ft of WaterGuard, 34ft of CleanSpace, 1 SuperSump+, and 1 IceGuard. Once the crew was done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Jason and Tena B. of Winona, MN had water leaking into their basement, and they were worried about the value of their home. One of their peers referred them to American Waterworks for our basement waterproofing repairs, so they called our office line and scheduled a FREE inspection. Our Design Specialist, Chuck, went to their home, clearly inspected the problems they were facing, and drew out a planned proposal to solve the problem. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his production team began the project by breaking out the entire wall perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Drain System. Our WaterGuard prevents water and mud clogs, serves as an underground drain, and catches water seepage from basement walls so it does not flood the floor. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace acts as an extra wall protectant by covering any holes or divots and preventing any further mold or humidity build-up. It also gives the basement a neat and clean appearance. To finish the project, Kiko and his team covered the open gaps with river rock and pea gravel and applied new concrete over them.
