In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Kyle P., arrived at the home for a thorough inspection. During the inspection, he took a close look at the basement, noticing mold growth and water stains. After reporting his findings to the homeowner, Kyle created a proposal. In that proposal, he recommended installing WaterGuard, our interior perimeter drainage system. Confident in our crew and product, the homeowner happily agreed to the recommendations.

John B. in Afton, MN noticed that his concrete walkway had settled a few inches, creating a large step down from the door. He was unhappy with how it looked, and was concerned people would trip. He wanted to find an effective and affordable way to repair his concrete, rather than replacing it. 

He found American Waterworks and was intrigued by the PolyLevel concrete repair solution that we offer. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Kevin McWithey, to his home to provide him with a FREE onsite estimate. John was pleased to learn that our PolyLevel foam injection is a more affordable, non-invasive and durable alternative to traditional concrete repair.

Our PolyLevel experts, Brandon Wiskow and Jared Wroblewski, drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where the foam would be injected. Then, the foam was injected until it was raised back to its original height. The cracks in the concrete were sealed with our Nexus Pro sealant and the process was complete! The job took roughly two hours, and John was able to see the transformation almost immediately because once the foam is injected it takes only 30 minutes to cure. John was glad he chose do go with the PolyLevel repair option provided by American Waterworks.

Darla from Saint Lucas, IA, needed a solution for her basement water issues. After looking around, she went on the American Waterworks website, and we set her up with a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian. Ian went to his home to inspect the space and devise a solution. Darla got all of her questions answered and was confident in Ian's proposal, so she moved forward with the project. 

First, Foreman, Jeromy and his production crew started the installation by completing a full-wall demo and then breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System along the East and South walls of the basement where issues were present. Our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. To complete the WaterGuard project, Jeromy and his team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Our team also worked to provide the space a more finished, insulated, and durable feel by installing our ZenWall™ Insulated Panels. A male homeowner in Roseau, MN had water leaking through the walls of his basement, causing him to worry about water moisture and other water damages. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to his home, inspected his problems, and came up with a solution that fit his needs and budget. Our Foreman and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which prevents water clogs, serves as an underground drain that joins with the sump pump, and collects water seepage from basement walls. To complete the project, our team covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. The homeowner was happy with the repairs and had a great experience from start to finish! 

Noland H. in Calmar, IA had an unfinished basement with a dirt floor. He had water seeping up through the soil and through the limestone foundation. It was his goal to remodel the home, but he knew he needed to waterproof his basement before doing so. Our production team installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump, and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the basement walls.
