Walkway Trip Hazard Gets Fixed in Arden Hills, MN

A homeowner from Arden Hills, MN, contacted us when they noticed their front stoop and connecting walkway were beginning to separate. Not wanting the issue to worsen, he decided to call American Waterworks and set up his FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Aidan, headed out to the property to assess the situation. Once he completed his walkthrough, he let our customer know that while the issue might seem daunting, the fix was rather simple. He explained that we would use our PolyLevel to restore the concrete slabs. Our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected under slabs. He said this method is cheaper, less invasive, and has quicker curing time than other remedies such as mudjacking or full replacement. The homeowner agreed and work was scheduled to begin a few weeks later.

Our Foreman, Patrick, and his team arrived on the day of the installation and completed the project in no time. Once the project was complete, our homeowner was thrilled to know they no longer needed to worry about tripping hazards!

Sinking Concrete Driveway Raised in Scandia, MN

Stephen T. in Scandia, MN noticed that his concrete driveway had sunk a little over an inch after the winter. While doing research for concrete repair contractors, he came across the American Waterworks website and was intrigued by our PolyLevel concrete repair solution. We sent a Design Specialist to his home to inspect his concrete and provide him with a FREE estimate. Stephen was happy to learn that PolyLevel is more affordable, efficient and durable than traditional concrete repair, so he scheduled to have us repair his concrete.

PolyLevel is a polymer foam that expands once it is injected into the concrete. The strong and durable foam fills the voids beneath the concrete and raises the slab. One of our PolyLevel experts drilled small holes into Stephen’s concrete slabs and injected the polymer foam until his driveway was once again even with the garage floor. The process only took half a day, and now Stephen will be able to enjoy beautiful, level concrete for years to come!

Scandia, MN, Driveway Lifted

A homeowner in Scandia, MN, found that there was a large gap between their garage and apron. Since they did not want the issue to worsen, the homeowner began looking for concrete repair alternatives. After seeing our impressive concrete demonstrations on social media, the homeowner decided to investigate our website. The homeowner saw that we offer concrete services they were looking for, so they called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the details were finalized, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists. When the Design Specialist arrived, they introduced himself to the homeowner and began evaluating the status of the concrete. The Design Specialist determined the cause of the unevenness was soil settlement. To prevent further sinking, the Design Specialist recommended that the concrete be lifted and leveled. The homeowner knew this would be their best option, so they went along with the Design Specialist's recommendation. The plans were then sent to our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew. When they arrived at the property, the crew began by making sure the concrete was ready for the PolyLevel. The crew then inserted the PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk and front slabs of the garage. Once the PolyLevel was installed, the crew was able to clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowner was glad their driveway and garage were even again. American Waterworks is happy to help another one of its customers.

Garage Floor Cracks Filled in Burnsville, MN

A homeowner in Burnsville, MN, noticed their driveway was uneven and had large cracks spread throughout. Knowing this would not be a do-it-yourself fix, the homeowner began searching for a professional to come to their home to take a look. While comparing several concrete lifting and leveling companies, the homeowner came across examples of our past concrete work. Impressed with our previous repairs, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate on our website. Once the appointment was set, we sent out one of our Design Specialists, Michel, to perform the estimate. Once the estimation was complete, Michel recommended a solution for the homeowners. After going through all their options, the homeowner followed through with Michel's plans. The plans were sent to the assigned crew to begin the repair process. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the property to begin the lifting and leveling process. To lift and level the concrete, the crew utilized the PolyLevel. Instead of ripping up the concrete and laying down new, the PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of concrete without the mess and cost. Once the concrete was properly leveled and lifted,  the crew could fill all the cracks spread throughout the garage floor. To fill the cracks, the crew utilized the NexusPro Sealant. The NexusPro Sealant is not affected by extreme temperatures, is long-lasting, and can be installed all year round. After all the cracks were repaired, the crew cleaned up their job site and left the home. The homeowners were thankful for all of the repairs completed by the crew. American Waterworks prides itself on our hard work for our dedicated customers.

Pool Deck Gets New Look in Burnsville, MN

A homeowner in Burnsville, MN was prepping his backyard pool area for the upcoming summer months when he realized just how worn down the sealant on his pool deck was. It had faded over time and formed small cracks and holes, easily allowing water splashed from the pool or rain to enter and damage his concrete. He decided to make a change and get the pool deck back to pristine condition. During his search of companies in the area that work with concrete sealing, he found the American Waterworks website. He signed up for a FREE estimate with us and we sent over one of our Design Specialists, Kyle Peters. Kyle explained that we had the perfect product that would eliminate the homeowner's concerns and get the pool deck in shape for summer: NexusPro. The homeowner agreed to the plans and was eager for the project to be complete. When Foreman Reese Rinken and his crew arrived at the site, they installed the durable, silicone-based sealant carefully in the joints. The pool deck was ready to be in use again and the homeowner was pleased with the outcome of our crew's work.
