Mac went to her home, carefully inspected her basement, and determined the solution of our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier and our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain. Mary was confident in Mac's presentation and our products, so she signed his proposal and got a date scheduled for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Raul, and his production crew started the installation by jackhammering out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard, which is the most common basement waterproofing product that we provide for homeowners. It collects water seepage from basement walls, prevents water and mud clogs, and it has service ports that make it easy to inspect during annual maintenance. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace around the basement wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace prevents mold and mildew, gives the basement a nice, clean finish, and it covers holes and divots. To complete the installation, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. Mary was happy with the work and her experience!

A homeowner in Hokah, MN, recently learned the dangers of radon gas. Worried their home was suffering from high radon levels, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with peace of mind. The homeowner looked into "radon reduction systems near me," and one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. After seeing several of our success stories, the homeowner knew their project was in the right hands. The homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist. The Design Specialist promptly arrived at the home and began the radon test. While waiting for the radon test to complete, the Design Specialist searched for the best place to install the Radon Mitigation System. Once the test was completed, it confirmed the levels were dangerously high. To lower these levels, the homeowner recommended installing the Radon Mitigation System outside the home. The homeowner agreed and worked with the Design Specialist to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman traveled to the home to begin the installation. The Foreman secured the Radon Mitigation System on the south side of the home. After the Radon Mitigation System was secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners peace of mind knowing its radon risk was eliminated.

She met with one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, who inspected the home and proposed a permanent solution. 

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew began the waterproofing project by first removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, which is backed by three levels of protection. Any water is now guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, and from there, is expelled from the home. Lastly, our SaniDry dehumidifier was put in place to take care of any humidity. Kay was happy with the project and glad her basement is now a dry, clean space.

Next, they hung our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to further protect the space from moisture and mold. Then, they filled back the gaps in the floor with rock before replacing the concrete and cleaning up their work area. Kelly was pleased with the results and glad she made the investment to protect her home.
