High Radon in Hinckley, MN, Mitigated

In Hinckley, MN, a homeowner learned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US and that it can be found in any household. Concerned their family was breathing in the toxic gas, the homeowner purchased a radon testing kit and tested the levels in their home. In a couple of days, the test results were above 4pCi/L, and the homeowner contacted our Appointment Center for a solution.

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Gary S., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection. During the inspection, Gary took a close look at the layout of the home and worked closely with the homeowner on the best placement of our radon mitigation system. Gary recommended installing the fan in the exterior of the home and connecting it to the concrete floor in the basement with PVC piping. Confident in our team, the homeowner knew the job would be done right and chose to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Gus R., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. Once everything was successfully installed, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Basement Waterproofing in Arkansaw, WI

Kristine I. of Arkansaw, WI had severe water problems in her basement, making her worry and want to get it under control. She got in touch with our office staff and got a FREE estimate scheduled with our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman. Chuck went to Kristine's house, inspected her water problems, and determined a solution. Kristine was confident in his solution, so she signed the contract.

Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the installation by installing our Foamax Wall Panels around the entire basement wall perimeter. Our Foamax provides comfort to the home and saves money on energy bills while making the walls look clean and bright. It also reduces condensation due to moisture protection. Next, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, followed by the discharge line. Our TripleSafe provides three layers of protection, solves all three water problems in one unit, and comes with a battery back-up. Our battery back-up keeps the system running in case of a power outage or failure. The purpose of the discharge line is to allow water to escape the home without invading the foundation wall. Kristine was happy with the work that was done and had a great experience from start to finish!
