A homeowner in Montgomery, MN had basement walls that were cracked and caving in. She called American Waterworks for a free inspection and we were able to design a plan to fit her specific needs. Our production crew installed wall anchors to straighten and provide support to her basement walls. They were very happy with the outcome of their project! 

Greg B. in Hugo, MN had two bowing walls in his basement. He had noticed the bowing was getting worse over time and he was concerned about the pressure it was putting on his foundation, so he started to look for a foundation repair contractor.

He found American Waterworks’ website and was happy to see that we have many years of experience with foundation repair. He contacted us to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to his home to inspect his problem and find a solution. Chad developed a thorough plan to stabilize the walls with a combination of both wall anchors and wall braces. Greg liked the proposal that Chad developed, and he felt we were a good fit for his needs, so they scheduled a date for the installation.

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his crew installed 9 wall braces along one of the walls and 5 wall anchors on the other. The combination of these foundation repair products straightened, and stabilized Greg’s foundation. The project took a couple of days, but Greg can rest easy knowing he invested in a permanent solution to his foundation problem.

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team installed 13 of our PowerBraces around the wall perimeter. Matt H. in Delavan, MN had multiple cracked walls in his basement. One of the walls was severely bowing inward and the other had a large stair step-like crack in the wall that had gotten worse over time. A friend recommended that he contact American Waterworks to help solve his foundation problems, so he gave us a call for a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, went to his home to inspect his foundation and design a solution. Jeremy assured Matt that we could permanently repair his foundation by installing 8 wall anchors. Matt was pleased to hear this, so he scheduled the installation.

Our production team drilled small holes through the brick walls and into the soil surrounding the home. Then, they inserted long metal rods into the holes and they secured each end of the rods with anchor plates. Once they tightened the anchors, Matt was able to see a dramatic improvement in the stability of his walls. The wall anchors can continue to be tightened over time to gradually straighten the wall back to its original position. Since our anchors are backed by a lifetime warranty, Matt is confident that he chose the best long-term solution to protect his home.
