She got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Charles Haldeman. Our Foreman, Spencer Garland, and his production team began the process by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drainage system, prevents water clogs, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier, which prevents mold and humidity, and acts as an extra wall protectant for leaking basement walls. It also gives the room a neat and clean appearance. Lastly, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Our TripleSafe is the best sump pump in the industry, it comes with a battery back-up, and it solves all three water problems in one system, especially during harsh weather conditions. To complete the installation, Spencer and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Hilary was happy with the repairs and could not believe the transformation!  

A homeowner in St. Blair, WI, worried their basement was in serious trouble. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find a solution and fast. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Chuck. After Chuck arrived, he began the thorough inspection of the basement and foundation. During his inspection, Chuck discovered several areas that were suffering and needed to be repaired. To ensure the issue doesn’t continue, Chuck recommended installing a variety of products. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Chuck’s proposal. Next, the proposal was passed along to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. As soon as the proposal was finalized, it was scheduled for the following month. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Juan, and his crew traveled to the home. Juan and his crew arrived at the home and began the installation. First, Juan and his crew installed Geolock Wall Anchors on the walls. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Finally, the crew secured an Aprilaire in the basement. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the crew’s excellent work ethic. Cy S. in Viroqua, WI contacted American Waterworks because he had water in his basement and his new addition. He met with one of our Design Specialists, who proposed that the best solution was to install a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system and a SuperSump sump pump. 

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. They removed a section of the concrete floor around the perimeter and created a drainage trench. The WaterGuard is then placed within the trench and filled back with rock to fill the gaps. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to protect the room from moisture and potential mold growth. The encapsulation system will now guide water leaking in through the foundation walls and redirect it to their WaterGuard perimeter floor drainage system and ultimately drain into the SuperSump sump pump. Cy is pleased that his basement is now a dry, healthier space and he is glad he chose to invest in the long-term protection of his home.
