Cracked Driveway Fixed in East Grand Forks, MN

A homeowner in East Grand Forks, MN was frustrated with his driveway for two main reasons. First, over time he had noticed it had sunk at the top and caused water to pool up towards the garage rather than run down the driveway. Second, a large crack that had formed and spread throughout the width of the concrete slabs. Rather than let the problem sit and possibly get worse, he decided to take action and find a reasonable solution for it. He went online to look for companies in her area by searching "concrete repair MN" and found the American Waterworks company website. He quickly became interested in our FREE estimate appointments, so he signed up for his own. Later, one of our expert Design Specialists, Richie Noreen, visited the home and carried out a detailed inspection of the driveway. Richie determined that our concrete repair products, PolyLevel solution and NexusPro sealant, would be the perfect way to restore the space. The homeowner agreed and on the day of the project was met by our Foreman, Charlie Coleman, and his crew to carry out the installations. The result of this project was a lifted and crack-free driveway and a happy homeowner.

Lowering Driveway in Emerado, ND

A homeowner in Emerado, ND, was mowing their lawn when they noticed a gap between their driveway and garage. Wanting to resolve the issue before winter, the homeowners signed up for American Waterworks' FREE estimate to see if the driveway could be lifted. Our Design Specialist, James, went out to inspect the area.  After the inspection, James determined the whole driveway would need to be lifted.  The homeowners agreed and the crew began construction. American Waterworks is glad to help another happy customer!

Lifting and Leveling in Emerado, ND

Robert, a homeowner in Emerado, ND, scheduled an appointment with our team after noticing his front sidewalk concrete was sinking. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved, he would run the risk of the water damaging his concrete, and excess water finding its way down to his foundation due to the runoff. We set him up with our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, James, headed out to the property to assess the issue and see what could be done to fix it.

After his inspection, James recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam meant to be injected below the slab, filling any voids caused by erosion while raising and stabilizing the concrete. Our customer agreed, and work began shortly after. Foreman Charlie and his crew began the project by introducing themselves to Robert and ensuring his questions were answered. After a complete introduction, our team got to work. The first thing our crew did was drill small, 5/8" holes throughout the slab. Next, our crew installed injection ports over the holes to guide the PolyLevel underneath the concrete. Then, our team injected the PolyLevel through the holes to get underneath the slab and fill the voids to raise and level the slab surface. Next, the team used NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, so it won't crack, bubble, or dry out. That means a single application can seal the joints and cracks in your concrete driveway, patio, or sidewalk for years to come, protecting it from damage caused by soil compaction and washout. To complete the installation, our crew provided the resident with a thorough walkthrough of what they did and ensured the resident's expectations were met.
