Sunken Ceiling Lifted in Willow River, MN

Christine C.'s ceiling was sinking into her basement, making her feel scared and uncomfortable living in her own home. After doing some research online, she came across American Waterworks and our foundation repair products. She called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to her home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. Christine was confident in Chad's proposal, so she followed through with the project. 

Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production team installed 15 of our 7-foot-tall SmartJacks and their brackets to lift and stabilize the ceiling. Our SmartJacks provide a solid support for sagging beams and can be adjusted overtime to make sure they are still doing their job. Basement Transformed in Howard Lake, MN

Kayti H. in Howard Lake, MN was tired of dealing with water in her basement. It was starting to do damage to her property, and she was ready to contact a professional. She contacted American Waterworks after doing some research online, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to evaluate the situation and propose the best solution to fit her needs. After his inspection, Shane was able to recommend our waterproofing system and also suggested our foundation repair products to help restore Kayti’s basement. Kayti was impressed with Shane’s presentation and our products, and she chose to move forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew were able to successfully stabilize Kayti’s basement by installing 9 PowerBraces and 4 SmartJacks. They started the waterproofing project with removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installed our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner and our CleanSpace vapor barriers along the walls. The combination of these products transformed Kayti’s basement into a stable, dry, and healthy space. She was impressed with the installation process and glad she made the investment to protect her home! 

Concrete Lifted in Browntown, MN

A homeowner in Browntown, MN, was entering their home when they noticed their sidewalk was not matching their driveway. Not liking the way it looks, the homeowner decided to look into different concrete lifting and leveling services. During their search, the homeowner came across American Waterworks' previous concrete jobs and decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Kevin. After Kevin arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowners and began his evaluation of the sidewalk. Once he completed the evaluation, Kevin determined that the concrete needed to be lifted and leveled. After listening to Kevin's suggestions, the homeowner agreed and they sent the plans to the assigned crew. Once they received the plans, our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the property to begin the PolyLevel installation. The crew focused on lifting along the control joint and making the aggregate and driveway level. After they lifted the concrete, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. PowerBrace Saves Wall in Maple Lake, MN

A homeowner in Maple Lake, MN, found that their foundation walls had several cracks throughout the cement blocks. Knowing this could be a sign of a serious issue, the homeowner wanted a professional to come to their home to perform an inspection. The homeowner heard of a home show going on in their area and decided to check it out. When they were there, the homeowner saw our booth and decided to chat with our Design Specialist, Shane. After talking with Shane, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate details were finalized, the homeowner prepared for Shane's arrival. Shane began his inspection of the foundation and discovered that the wall was showing signs of progressing wall failure. Shane recommended the walls be permanently stabilized and the homeowner agreed. The plans were then directed to the assigned crew and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Jose, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the wall stabilization. First, the crew made sure the walls were prepared for the PowerBrace installation. Then, the crew installed four PowerBraces along the southeast wall and three on the southwest wall. In addition to the PowerBraces, the homeowner asked that the tightening kit be included, so they can gradually straighten the walls over time. Once the PowerBraces were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowners were put at ease knowing their walls were saved from failure. Cracked Block Foundation Repaired in Gibbon, MN

Linda M. in Gibbon, MN had some cracks in her basement walls that were getting larger over time and putting pressure on the foundation. She was concerned about the bowing walls and the potential damage it could cause. She started researching foundation repair contractors and was glad to run into our booth at the New Ulm Home and Health Show. She set up an appointment to have our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell, evaluate the situation. She was impressed with the proposed solution and moved forward with an installation date. 

In order to fully stabilize the damaged foundation walls, our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production crew installed 6 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors and 3 PowerBraces along the basement walls. The anchor rods were drilled deep into the soil outside of the home and wall plates installed on each end of the rod to secure the anchor. Then, they tightened the anchor to start the process of straightening the wall. Linda is happy she chose to permanently stabilize her home, and her peace of mind has been restored!
