Cracked, Unstable Wall Repaired in New Hampton, IA

A homeowner in New Hampton, IA, knew it was time to have their cracked, unstable walls repaired. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner asked their neighbors for recommendations. Their neighbors recommended working with us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at our company. After seeing our impressive ratings and reviews, the homeowner knew we were the best company for the job. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Brady, one of our Design Specialists. After Brady arrived at the home, he began the thorough walk-through of the basement. Brady found that the walls were showing early signs of wall failure. To stop the failure from continuing, Brady recommended installing several wall stabilizing products. The homeowner agreed with Brady's proposal, so he sent the plans to our Logistics team for approval. After the plans were approved, they were assigned to our Foreman, Jesus, and his crew to begin. Jesus and his crew traveled to New Hampton and began the installation. First, Jesus and his crew began by installing 16 PowerBraces along all the walls. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing three Carbon Armor strips on the wall. Finally, the crew installed seven SmartJacks on the walls. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their walls were properly secured and stable. American Waterworks is happy to stabilize its homeowner's struggling foundation walls.

Foundation Repair in Minnesota City, MN

Lemont B. of Minnesota City, MN had cracks in his foundation wall, making him feel nervous about the structural build and stability of his home. He saw one of our advertisements in the newspaper and called our office line to scheduled a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Mac Cole, went to his home to inspect the walls and come up with a solution. After a thorough diagnosis, Lemont was confident in the proposal and presentation so he moved forward with the project.

Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by digging two holes outside of the foundation wall. From the inside of the basement, our team drilled a long, medal rod from the inside of the wall to each hole beyond the foundation. At the end of each rod, our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors, which are made to stabilize foundation walls and straighten them over time. To complete the job, Raul and his team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil, leaving the yard looking neater than when they found it. Lemont was happy with the work and his peace of mind was restored!

Cracked Basement Walls Secured in Strum, WI

Roger L. owned a home in Strum, WI that he was using as an income property. He decided that he wanted to sell the house, so he didn’t have to deal with renting it out anymore. He knew that before he could put it on the market, he would have to make some repairs to the home, including repairing the foundation. He had two cracked walls in his basement, one of which had started bowing inward. Over the years he noticed it gradually getting worse and worse and he decided it was time to call American Waterworks to learn more about our foundation repair solutions and get a FREE estimate.

One of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, went onsite to inspect his walls and develop the right solution for his specific needs. Rick concluded that the best repair option would be to install wall anchors, and Roger agreed. A couple of weeks later, our production crew arrived at the home to start the installation. They drilled small holes through the damaged block foundation and inserted long metal rods through the wall and into the soil surrounding the home. They secured both ends of the metal rods with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they could go. Once the anchors were tightened, the walls began to straighten and stabilize. The anchors should continue to be tightened over to time to continuously improve the strength of the foundation.
