Shed Gets Stabilized in Stanley, WI
James from Stanley, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice the walls of his shed were beginning to show signs of cracking, indicating wall failure. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved, he would face more serious wall failure down the road or water intrusion from the cracks. We set him up with our FREE estimate when he called our office. A few weeks after the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Chuck, headed out to the property to see what could be done to help fix the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he had a few recommendations. First, he wanted to use our Geo-Lock Channel Anchors and GeoLock Anchors to fix the cracking wall. He explained to James that our wall anchors are designed to be quick, with minimal disturbance to your home or landscaping. He went on to say that the Channel Anchors would immediately stabilize walls pushing in at the bottom by connecting to an earth anchor embedded in the soil. He then said that our GeoLock anchors help the bowing walls by anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Matt, and his crew ended up installing 4 channel anchors as well as 13 of our GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the shed as well as an unattached boathouse. Now James can have peace of mind knowing his shed's foundation will be stable for years to come.

Foundation Repair in Minnesota City, MN
Lemont B. of Minnesota City, MN had cracks in his foundation wall, making him feel nervous about the structural build and stability of his home. Our Design Specialist, Mac Cole, went to his home to inspect the walls and come up with a solution. Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by digging two holes outside of the foundation wall. From the inside of the basement, our team drilled a long, medal rod from the inside of the wall to each hole beyond the foundation. At the end of each rod, our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors, which are made to stabilize foundation walls and straighten them over time. Cracked Basement Walls Secured in Strum, WI
Roger L. owned a home in Strum, WI that he was using as an income property. He decided that he wanted to sell the house, so he didn’t have to deal with renting it out anymore. He knew that before he could put it on the market, he would have to make some repairs to the home, including repairing the foundation. He had two cracked walls in his basement, one of which had started bowing inward. Over the years he noticed it gradually getting worse and worse and he decided it was time to call American Waterworks to learn more about our foundation repair solutions and get a FREE estimate.
One of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, went onsite to inspect his walls and develop the right solution for his specific needs. Rick concluded that the best repair option would be to install wall anchors, and Roger agreed. A couple of weeks later, our production crew arrived at the home to start the installation. They drilled small holes through the damaged block foundation and inserted long metal rods through the wall and into the soil surrounding the home. They secured both ends of the metal rods with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they could go. Once the anchors were tightened, the walls began to straighten and stabilize. The anchors should continue to be tightened over to time to continuously improve the strength of the foundation.
