Cabin owners reached out to DBS for help stabilizing their cabin located in Saginaw, MN. The cabin has been in the family for generations and was in need of serious help to stay healthy for decades to come. 

DBS Design Specialist Nathan Schroeder went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the home, Nathan recommended stabilizing the sinking structure using Supportworks® push piers. Push piers are driven deep underground until they reach bedrock and are measured using hydraulic pressure. Once solid bedrock is reached the structure can be permanently stabilized and is guaranteed under a nationally-backed warranty! This stabilization system is completely hidden from sight once installed and is covered with dirt and can have grass or other landscaping options applied. The home needed to be inspected, and our Design Specialist went to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the wall repair service. The crew installed the PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System along the basement wall to help stabilize the wall in hopes of straightening it back to the original position.

The owner of this home in Cromwell, MN noticed that the wall in their basement needed to be repaired. In hopes of finding a solution, they reached out to DBS.

A DBS Design Specialist went to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After which the design specialist informed the homeowner about the severe degree of bowing in the wall. They generated a quote for our PowerBrace® Wall Bracing System.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 9 PowerBrace® i-beams in the basement to stabilize the walls. Each i-beam is affixed to the rim joists of the home with a steel bracket that can be tightened during dry seasons in an attempt to straighten the wall back to its original position. 

Now that the basement has been permanently stabilized, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.
