A cabin owner in Minong, WI wanted to transform this space into their permanent residence. With a dirt crawl space and very little insulation, they wanted to ensure comfortable temperatures in the cabin and eliminate the possibility of pipes freezing and bursting during winter months. They reached out to DBS about our crawl space encapsulation service.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo is an expert in energy-saving solutions and visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. Foreman Taylor Allen and his production crew installed a CleanSpace® vapor barrier on top of foam insulation over the dirt crawl space floor. Our ultra-dense TerraBlock™ foam insulation, as well as closed-cell spray foam, were applied to fully seal and regulate temperature in the space. These products work together to keep, cold air, moisture, and pests at bay.

The homeowner was happy with the work done, and now has a solid solution to protect their cabin against low winter time temperatures.

This home in Minong, WI was suffering from a settling, sinking foundation. The owners were looking for a permanent and professional solution, so they reached out to DBS for help.

Design Specialist James Miller assisted the homeowners with a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, James recommended our Piering Services and provided a quote.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation of this project with help from a team. Together, the team used hydraulic pressure to drive the helical piers down into the stable soil. These piers are able to fully support the structure and are adjusted to raise the structure back to a level, stable position.

This home in Luck, WI was experiencing some water problems in the basement. After homeowner called DBS for an appointment, System Design Specialist, Rich Johnson went out to the home for a FREE, no obligation estimate. Rich inspected the home and then explained that the best possible solution would be to waterproof the basement with the DBS system. This system also included a SuperSump and wall poly. The customer signed the written proposal that same day and a date was set to have Foreman, Casey Healey, and his team complete the installation. After Casey and his team professionally waterproofed the basement, the homeowner no longer had to worry about water problems becoming an issue.

Homeowners in Centuria, WI had a leaky and wet basement. They knew it was most likely due to cracking in their foundation.  In search of a permanent solution, they reached out to DBS. 

DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specialist for this project and recommended that a new drain system needed to be installed, as well as substantial support for the shifting basement walls.

A DBS foreman and crew installed a new french drain system and CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier along the perimeter of the basement. This system directs all the moisture to a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System. 

To permanently stabilize the basement walls, 8 steel I-beams were used. This PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System, is meant to support walls from further movement and can be tightented over time, in order to restore the wall to its original position.

The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to the leaking water and foundation cracks.
