The four-season porch on this townhome in Maplewood, MN was sinking into the soil. The soil in this area is composed of clay and during wet seasons the posts sank into the ground. DBS got the bid on this project to come up with a solution.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo generated a quote for our helical piers after conducting a free no-obligation estimate.

 A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 3 helical piers under the supports of the porch in order to permanently stabilize the structure. Each pier is backed with a 25-year transferrable warranty so the homeowner can have peace of mind.

Now that the porch has been stabilized, the homeowner will be able to enjoy their sunroom with ease.

By strategically placing five GeoLocks® around the sinking wall perimeter, the structural integrity can be significantly improved. These GeoLocks® act as anchors, penetrating deep into the ground to create a secure foundation, effectively counteracting any potential forces that may cause the wall to shift or sink further.
