Kristin Kramer, DBS's Appointment Center Representative, received the call and an appointment was set.  Our System Design Specialist, Rich Johnson made a trip out to the home for a free no obligation estimate. Following the thorough inspection, Rich explained to the homeowner the best possible solutions. The appointment was followed up by setting a date to have Foreman, Kevin Steffey and his production team come out and fix the problem. Three of the walls were fully waterproofed, several power braces with joint reinforcements were installed, and a triple-safe sump pump system was installed. This homeowner now enjoys a safe and dry basement and is without any concern.

This homeowner in Duluth, MN was concerned about the condition of the back deck. Over time, the deck beams had rotated and shifted away from the original position, causing the deck to lose stability. After doing a bit of research online, the homeowner reached out to DBS to find the best quality solution. Following a brief friendly phone call with the DBS office staff, an appointment was made to have System Design Specialist, Rich Johnsen make a trip out to the home for a free no obligation estimate. Rich was able to show the homeowners the exact problem and explain to them the best possible solution. He explained to the homeowners that the installation of helical piers would help reposition the deck back to its original location. Following a comfortable price agreement, an appointment was set to have Primary Foreman, Casey Healy and his crew come out for the installation. In order to maintain the original deck’s position, the new piers were installed near the old ones, so that the deck’s weight could be transitioned right over to the newly stabilized helical piers. With the installation of these great piers, the homeowner no longer has to worry about the stability of the deck.

The unfinished basement area had spots where cold outside air could easily access, and this was making it harder to keep an energy-efficient home (not to mention, a warm home). Luckily, DBS was able to send a crew to the home and install spray foam insulation around the perimeter of the basement on the rim joist portion.
