Foundation Crack Repair in Canton, KS
Traci B. is a homeowner in Canton, KS, but she recently accepted a new job opportunity elsewhere that required her to begin the selling process of her current home. To maximize the value, she wanted to have it inspected and have any repairs done, if needed. Thrasher was recommended to Traci by multiple close friends and family members, and she felt comfortable and confident when giving us a call to come and inspect her home.
Our System Design Specialist, AJ LaVoie, arrived at the Canton, KS home and began the thorough inspection. AJ noticed multiple cracks had formed in the drywall and quickly realized it was because the main support beam of the house was sagging due to moisture and poor structure. Traci opted to have our teams install four of our SmartJack support systems to support the main beam and lift the floor to its original state to close the gaps in the drywall.
Traci couldn’t have been more excited with her Thrasher experience and the permanent solution we provided. We not only made the home a safer environment, but we also restored her peace of mind so she can move forward in the selling process with confidence.
Foundation Repair in Arkansas City, KS
Thrasher was called in to level the sloping floors of this older home. The home was settling on a limestone foundation, making the project especially challenging. To level the floors, we installed our SmartJack XT support system in the basement to restore support to the failing joists, and to prevent the problem from recurring in the future. The homeowner was very happy with the end result, and felt taken care of throughout the process.

Settling Foundation Salina, KS Fixed with Helical Pier Installation
Longtime homeowners Albert and Kris R. love their home and wanted to keep the value and curb appeal of their home. They were having problems with the concrete on their front porch area and wanted a permanent concrete repair service. So, they decided to give us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Mike Lutmer out to the home to come up with a solution for Albert and Kris. Mike was able to identify that the porch and columns were settling outward. The columns on the front porch also supported the roof. After discussing the solution with Albert and Kris, we installed Helical Piers and were able to lift and rotate the columns back into place. During the whole project Albert and Kris were impressed with how dedicated the crew was.
Basement Dry and Foundation Walls Supported in Wichita, KS
John E. was looking to finish his basement and create more living space, but he was having trouble with water coming into his basement. Water would be coming in and the temperature in the basement would never get above the 50s. The pervious homeowner had work done by Thrasher, so John decided to give us a call and learn more about solutions for foundation repair.
Service Technician Kerry Lehman went out to John’s home to see what we could do. Upon inspection Kerry found the foundation wall had deflected so far that the exterior wall was no longer on the sill plate. There was a gap letting outside air pour into the basement. The wall cracks were also allowing water to come in and keep the basement wet.
The crew started with excavating the outside and straightening the wall with the GeoLock anchors. Three of the walls were also waterproofed with WaterGaurd and full-height CleanSpace was also put on the walls to keep the water out.
