Debbie and Mark G. love to spend time outdoors on their back patio with their family. They are planning on putting patio furniture under their pergola but are unable to due to settled concrete causing water to pool in that area. Looking for a long-term solution, they decided to give us a call.

System Design Specialist Shane McClintic went out to the home and in addition to the back patio having concrete settlement, he was also able to identify spots on the driveway that also had settlement. The team leveled and lifted the concrete back to the original position using PolyLevel. They then removed the existing caulking and sealed the joints with NexusPro Joint Sealant to prevent water from entering again. Debbie and Mark were not only pleased with how their driveway and back patio looked, but also with the professionalism they received from the team as well.

This customer in Maryville, MO was tired of getting clogged gutters causing water problems around the foundation of their home. Our team was able to help them by installing our RainDrop gutter guards. This product provides maintenance-free, self-cleaning gutter protection for both new and existing gutters. 

Ruby was tired of worrying about her crawlspace. She had very high humidity and her home was feeling the effects of the moisture. She was also worried about the high moisture content in her main living space. 

But her biggest concern was mold growing in her crawlspace and creating bigger problems in the future. She decided this was the time to do something about it. She called Thrasher and we sent out System Design Specialist, Jimmy Hungerford, to inspect.

Upon inspection, Jimmy found that Ruby's crawl space had a very high moisture content and it was causing her entire home to have extreme water moisture in the air and the building materials. On top of that, her sump system was failing and needed to be replaced.

To fix and reduce the moisture in the air, we buried her downspouts away from the home, added a new sump system, and encapsulated her crawl space to protect the home from additional damages. We also added a Sedona Air Filtration system. 

Ruby was happy with the results and was excited to use us for other home repair projects in the future!

This deteriorating foundation wall was about to collapse due to soil pressure on the other side. But our dedicated Kansas City crew, along with our EverBrace Wall System, not only rescued the wall but saved the entire home. EverBrace, our go-to alternative for foundation replacement, features corrugated steel panels and beams that stabilize foundation walls. The gaps behind the steel are filled with sturdy rigid foam, transferring the load from the deteriorating walls to the new support panels.

Craig and his family have lived in this home for over 30 years. He began to notice a crack in the basement walls and kept his eye on it for years. Craig decided it was time to call Thrasher when he noticed a more visible deflection in the wall. He began to worry that the wall would eventually cave in. Hydrostatic pressure outside of the home builds up pressure around the existing foundation walls. This is due to the soil around the home settling and allowing gaps for water to create pressure, causing the walls to bow. 

For this project, PowerBraces were used to permanently stabilize the existing wall. PowerBrace is a product that is made with galvanized steel and fits the exact height of your walls. A unique feature of PowerBrace is that it is secured at the base of the wall, and has an adjustable feature at the top, allowing for the walls to be straightened over time. Craig and his family can now rest easy that they will avoid total wall failure.
