Falling Seawall on the Platte River

This customer reached out to us because her seawall next to her yard and home was falling toward the lake. She didn't want to have to deal with the cost and hassle of replacing it if and when it fell all the way in.

When we performed an inspection, we concluded the seawall was falling toward the lake because it had no support on one side and a lot of pressure from the soil on the other.

This isn't a typical job for us, but we are always happy to take on a challenge and solve a unique problem. To fix the wall, we installed GeoLock anchors to secure the wall on the side of the water. This will give that added support on the side that didn't have anything and will prevent the pressure from the soil from caving in.

Stone Foundation Gets EverBrace in Waverly, NE

The customer's house was built around an old foundation. The original foundation is from the 1880's and is made of stone. The additional foundation was putting weight on the stone walls and causing them to fail. There was 6 inches of deflection on the wall. We used Everbrace because of the severity of the issue. The wall failure was to the point that this was our only option.

Foundation Repair in Iola, KS

Homeowner Jeanne was looking for a better solution to repair her sagging floors to ensure the home was stable.  Since she was a previously satisfied customer, she chose us to help her with this issue.

System Design Specialist, Kerry headed out to provide Jeanne a free same-day free estimate.  We determined that we needed to install a steel supplemental beam under the center support beam.  We then added additional Smart Jacks to support the beam which helped stabilize the floor.

Wall Failure Saved in Okoboji, IA

This homeowner recently purchased two cabins in Okoboji, one on the water, and one for family to stay in when they came to visit. While she didn't know that her foundation walls were problematic when she purchased the cabin for her family to stay at, she quickly noticed the wall crumbling and she was unsure of what to do. She saw our team doing work across the street for a neighbor, and she came over to see if we could take a look at her wall.

Service Technician Wes Marshall came right over after he finished up his original project to inspect this homeowner's walls. Wes found that the north foundation wall was starting to crumble into pieces and that the wall was starting to slide inwards, past the bottom brick. Wes realized that this was a big problem that could be solved if the homeowner acted quickly. Our team got to work quickly installing our EverBrace System which is used only in extreme cases of wall failure because it acts as a new foundation wall.

The homeowner was so happy with the finished product and she was relieved that she didn't need to have a new foundation wall poured for the cabin. Check out her EverBrace System!

Extreme Foundation Repair in Peyton, CO

This customer has lived in her home for quite a while, but recently she's noticed one of her basement walls start to crumble. She's concerned that if it isn't fixed soon the wall could completely fail. The home was built a long time ago and likely had a crawlspace foundation. At some point they dug out the crawlspace and made room for storage and for the HVAC and water heater. Rather than installing a proper concrete wall, they put a concrete skim coating over the dirt wall that was dug out. Over time the pressure of the soil caused the concrete to fail. To repair the wall we used two Smartjack XT to support the floor above, and EverBrace to reinforce the basement wall to prevent any further degradation.
