When the tank was being installed the homeowner noticed that the rock wall near the oil tank was crumbling and chunks appeared to be falling off the wall. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection.

Design Specialist Kenny Calabrese inspected the basement and the rock wall foundation. Kenny confirmed that the wall is crumbling and recommended a solution. Kenny had noticed some of the support posts in the basement seemed weak. Kenny's recommended solution is to install an Auxiliary wall to the section of the wall that is crumbling and to replace some of the supports in the basement with SmartJacks.

The EFS team first supported the home using temporary posts. They then chipped away the old foundation wall down to the footing. Next, they poured a new footing. Once the footing was set they started building the masonry wall.
