Basement Floor Supports, West Newton, MA
After moving into their newly purchased home, these owners wished to make several upgrades and improvements. One of the first items they needed to fix were their uneven, sloping floors. The basement was full of temporary jacks and wood columns, which were not properly supporting the floor. This before and after shows the failing column supports and the SmartJack (warrantied) which replaced them.

Foundation Crack Causing Concern, Billerica, MA
A homeowner in Billerica, Massachusetts, had lived in their home for almost 20 years and this year they started to notice some cracks in their foundation wall. Recently they installed a new oil tank and started to notice cracking after the tank was installed. Their home was built in the 1950s and this is the first issue they have seen with the foundation. To address their concerns they decided to call EFS for a free inspection, our design specialist found the cracks in their foundation wall were forming because of pressure from the exterior of the home. Our design specialist recommended installing PowerBraces against the foundation wall to add support.
Installation of Push Piers, Billerica, MA
This homeowner in Billerica, Massachusetts, purchased their home in the late 1980s and built a large addition in 2007. About 15 years after building the extension the homeowner noticed the doors and window become tight and difficult to open. They called EFS for a free inspection of the foundation. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and inspected the home for settlement. Our specialist concluded there was significant foundation movement and recommended installing Push Piers to stabilize the foundation of the addition.
Our crew arrived and installed 14 Push Piers to the foundation to lift and stabilize the foundation.
