Radon Concerns, Pelham, NH
This homeowner in Pelham, New Hampshire has been living in their home for 30 years and has recently been concerned with radon. The homeowner decided to test for radon in his home. The test occurred in the finished area of the basement where the homeowner's son lives. The test results came back at 12 pCi/L. The homeowner decided to call Erickson Foundation Solutions about a free inspection.
Design Specialist Isaac Hernandez arrived at the home and inspected the basement. He designed a radon mitigation system specifically for this home.
Crew Lead Branden Edwards arrived at the home and installed the new radon mitigation system into the basement.
Push Piers Installed, Pelham, NH
A homeowner in Pelham, New Hampshire, had Erickson Foundation Solution to look at their foundation. Our Design Specialist looked at the home and recommended installing Push Piers around the home to stabilize the foundation. Our team installed 32 Push Piers around the foundation to prevent further settlement. The team dug up the dirt around the entire foundation of the home to install the Push Piers. After the piers were installed we then backfilled and tamped the dirt around the foundation.
Geolocks and Crack Injection Installed, Canterbury, NH
A home in Canterbury, New Hampshire was built approximately 2 years ago. The homeowners, who have lived in the home since it was built, noticed cracking and leaning of their foundation wall. They call EFS to look at their home and present a solution for repairing their foundation wall. Our Design Specialist recommended installing Geolocks and Crack Injection on the foundation wall to straighten the wall and seal the cracks.
Water Entering Garage From Driveway, Lexington, MA
This homeowner in Lexington, Massachusetts recently purchased her childhood home. She is planning on doing manageable renovations to increase the value of the home. She had completed a couple of renovations already but now has started working on the garage. Water from the driveway has been entering the garage and has caused some damage. She decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Brian Swindell inspected the foundation and garage of the home. Brian discovered that there is some void below the slab in the garage that he recommend filling before attempting to lift the slab. To help stop the water from entering the garage Brian recommended installing Trench Drain at the mouth of the garage with a downspout.
Crew Lead Nick Melo and his team lifted the mouth of the garage to level and then filled the void under the slab. After the PolyLevel was injected, the team installed the Trench Drain at the mouth of the garage.
