Bulkhead Door Replacement in Wilmington, MA

In the photo of this Wilmington, MA project, you’ll notice the initial issue: a leaking bulkhead door caused by crumbling foundation. To address this, we installed a robust solution. We replaced the deteriorating foundation area with 4" solid masonry blocks, ensuring structural integrity. Our top-tier bulkhead door eliminated further exposure to elements, and we applied NexusPro to seal potential water intrusion points. Our approach remains steadfast, providing a structural solution that promises durability and ensures peace of mind. Erickson Foundation Solutions consistently delivers reliable waterproofing and superior customer service.

Sagging Floors, Lawrence, MA

The floors in this home were sagging and settling more and more over time. The owners had been using temporary supports to minimize the damage, but eventually needed a more permanent solution. Erickson Foundation Supportworks installed several Smart Jack posts to address the issue. The homeowner then had a carpenter come in to help renovate the lower level of them where the ceiling and floor were affected.

Foundation Wall and Floor Stabilization in Lawrence, MA

In Lawrence, MA, a homeowner was experiencing significant structural concerns in their basement, including a fieldstone foundation wall that had bowed inward by as much as three inches, deteriorating mortar and loose stones, and corroded lally columns that were no longer adequately supporting the floor system above. To address these issues, Erickson Foundation Solutions implemented a comprehensive repair strategy designed to improve both structural stability and long-term durability. As part of the solution, polyurethane spray foam was applied to the foundation walls to help insulate the space, reduce moisture infiltration, and minimize efflorescence caused by water vapor migration through the masonry. To permanently stabilize the compromised foundation wall, our team installed the StableLock™ wall system, creating a reinforced structural wall capable of resisting further movement. Additionally, rusted support columns were replaced with the SmartJack® system, restoring proper support to the floor joists and helping to correct floor settlement and sagging. The completed project transformed the basement into a safer, more stable environment while providing the homeowner with confidence that the foundation and support system are protected for years to come.
