Quality 1st Basement Systems was hired to repair the sagging floors of this home in Toms River, NJ. We installed the SmartJack Crawl Space Support System to provide additional support to the floor joist. Over time, wood beams can shift or sag due to the temperature in the crawl space throughout the year with moisture and humidity. Sagging wood can split causing lack of support to the floor above. Each SmartJack Stabilizer, restores the stability and straightness to the sagging floor joist. 

The foundation walls of this Bayville home were bowing and had horizontal cracks. The foundation problems were due to soil outside the home expanding due to soil saturation from heavy rains. The expansion of the soil put pressure on the foundation and caused the bowing walls which created a horizontal crack in the foundation. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed PowerBraces to stabalize the wall and eventually shift it back to its original place. This foundation is now safe and will return back to its original position!

Homeowner noticed the windows and doors kept sticking every so often but never thought it was in relation to the sagging beam issue in the crawl space.
