This home in Elizabeth City, NC was experiencing foundation settlement caused by weak, shifting soil along the exterior wall. To permanently stabilize the structure, our team installed helical piers, which are engineered steel supports designed to transfer the weight of the home down to stable, load-bearing soil.

The piers were carefully positioned and driven deep into the ground until proper resistance was achieved, providing immediate support and long-term stability. Once installed, the foundation load was transferred to the piers, helping prevent further settlement and protecting the structural integrity of the home.

Helical piers are a minimally invasive, permanent solution for foundation settlement ideal for homes showing signs of sinking, uneven floors, or cracking walls.

Ripped plastic, water damage, and falling insulation were throughout this crawl space. The issues posed by these factors often result with inconsistent home temperatures, breathing or health issues, and even strange smells. We cleaned it out completely and installed our own patented products designed to protect a crawl space and keep the air quality as high as possible.

Water seepage had begun in this basement. The physical signs on the walls was proof enough for the homeowners to act. This internal waterproofing system with a sump pump and vapor barrier on the wall has dramatically improved the basement’s air quality and reduced mold growth.

Throughout this crawl space there was unused square footage of the home filled with ripped plastic, dirt, and moisture. We installed a vapor barrier across the entire crawl space, waterproofed it using EzFlow and a sump pump, and installed a dehumidifier. These products allow the area to be usable, it protects the home from flooding, mold, and improves the air quality overall.
