Fortress was able to offer this customer the best work for the best price. Fortress installed the CarbonArmor & ArmorLock Systems to ensure the wall would be permanently stabilized. 

This customer gave Fortress Foundation Solutios a call due to a bowing wall that was causing cracking. To solve this homeowners problem, the team here at Fortress was quick to give them a solution which was to install power braces. Power braces are designed to not only stabilize failing basement walls, but straighten them over time. 

This homeowner in Lynchburg, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had been receiving water in their basement through a crack in their wall, also causing the wall to bow inwards. 

Fortress recommended to the homeowner that we install our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System along with our Full Perimeter WaterGuard System and our SuperSump Plus Sump Pump. Our CarbonArmor System includes flexible carbon fiber fabric straps that are up to ten times stronger in tension than steel. Using high strength epoxy resin, the carbon fiber straps are bonded to the interior face of the wall. WaterGuard is installed underneath the floor slab to catch any water that may come in and pushes it through to the sump pump. After our WaterGuard is installed, all the concrete is restored.

This system consists of steel beams that are secured at the joists above the wall with steel brackets.
