Buried Downspout Drainage Solution in Boynton Beach, Florida
Having dealt with constant flooding issues on one side of his home, Richard in Boynton Beach, Florida asked LRE Foundation Repair to help with designing an effective drainage solution. Upon inspection of his property by one of our Design Specialists, it was revealed that the downspouts connected to the home’s gutter system had not been adequately dispersing water away from the house, causing much of the problematic flooding. As part of a new comprehensive drainage system, our team connected the downspouts to a buried drainage pipe beneath the home’s yard. This setup directs rainwater toward a relief drain located away from the house. With this new solution in place, Richard’s flooding problems around his home have been effectively resolved, and his foundation is now safeguarded against water damage.
Crack Repair and Foundation Lift in Bonita Springs, FL
Brenten H. of Bonita Springs, FL, experienced substantial damage to his property after a Florida storm hit. He called LRE Foundation Repair in hopes of a solution to the large cracks and sinking foundation. Upon inspection, LRE was able to determine that loose soils, erosion, and large voids were to blame for the foundation troubles and designed the perfect fix. LRE first installed helical piers around the exterior of the home. These piers were hydrologically driven into the soil and attached to the foundation, adding the stability needed to close the cracks and carefully lift the side of the home. Next, LRE used PolyLevel, a two-part expanding foam material, to fill the voids underneath the home, further increasing stability. This home is now ready to weather many more Florida storms for years to come.

These galvanized steel piers not only added to the stability of the structure but also assisted in closing the cracks and carefully lifting the side of the home. Next, LRE used PolyLevel, a two-part expanding foam material, to fill the voids underneath the home, further increasing stability. Once the project was complete, this homeowner was ecstatic to not have to worry about future damage or settlement to his property.
