Cracked and Leaking Basement Repaired in New Athens, IL

A basement foundation was cracking in New Athens, IL, and water was leaking out of them. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was first installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. Next, the WaterGuard System was installed. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry for years to come!

French Drain Install In New Athens, IL

A basement in New Athens, Illinois, was having some water seepage issues. There was already a sump pump in place, but it wasn't enough to keep all the water out of this basement. To fix this issue, Woods came in and installed the WaterGuard System. This system collects water and directs it to the sump pump nearby. Plastic pipes are laid directly underneath the floor and sit on top of the soil to prevent clogging from dirt or other debris. Thanks to this install, water will be able to get to the sump pump to be removed, resulting in a dry basement for years to come!

Granite City, IL Window Wells Replaced

Metal window wells like this one in Granite City rust over time. Weeds can sprout and poke holes in thin, flimsy window well covers and allow rainwater to fill up the window well.  Sometimes, window wells are left uncovered, and basements get wet anyway.

SunHouse basement window enclosures offer an attractive, bright, clean solution that keeps rain out, prevents weeds from growing inside, and reflects natural light into the basement.

RockWell Window Well Installed in Granite City, Illinois

Granite City, Illinois resident Tom N. was tired of looking at his old, ugly window well. The well didn't allow for light to enter his basement and critters made a home of it.
