Olga's sump pump was struggling and eventually failed, causing water to leak on her basement floor. She knew water damage could destroy her belongings, so she researched and called Ayers for help. Our team of experts stopped by her home, evaluated the situation, and recommended installing the TripleSafe sump pump system. TripleSafe focuses on preventing pump failure with a three-in-one system. If the first pump fails, the backup kicks in, and during power outages, there's a third, battery-operated pump. Olga is relieved to have her old pump replaced!

After deciding she wanted to make her home a legacy house, Terri called us to help make some upgrades to her basement. One of these upgrades included the installation of an egress window. Putting an egress window into her basement allowed Terri to not only have more natural light flowing into the living area, but for a safe exit in case of an emergency. With the new window, Terri can safely create more living space in her basement for future generations to enjoy.

Our customer called having tried to solve a basement water problem herself, only to have it come back. We installed a full perimeter of WaterGuard below-floor drain, and solved one of the biggest problems, the inefficient sump pump, by replacing it with a SuperSump. Most crawlspace doors are made of organic wood that deteriorates over time -- not the patented EverLast Door from Ayers. We make the EverLast crawl space doors with 1/2 inch plastic that will never rot away or need painting. They also seal airtight to a crawlspace's opening, disallowing water to enter. This home's crawlspace can now be used for storage without the worry of water entering through its door. 

Home improvements can be big or small, in this case, egress windows are a small part of a home but can provide a lot of benefits.  For home safety, these larger egress windows are able to provide an escape route for people living in the basement.  This is actually standard home code if there is a person living in the basement.  Egress windows also provide a much more clean and pleasing area to look at.  There is no downside to having a new egress window become a part of your home!
