Steve's support structures were lacking so he decided on calling Ayers for a professional replacement. We sent a crew to take a look and make the proper recommendations. After the inspection it was agreed that SmartJacks would solve his issues. SmartJacks are steel support columns that are placed on a solid foundation base installed in the sub-floor and attached at the top to a steel support beam. The steel columns can be adjusted in the future and will raise the floors back to its original position. This will provide Steve with a strong and stable support system so his home's safety is ensured!

These homeowners had noticed their wall beginning to bow a while back. Horizontal cracks in the wall slowly got bigger as the wall visibly bowed. Time was running out and the homeowners gave us a call. Our crews came out and installed a series of 7 zinc-coated steel PowerBraces. These PowerBraces are I-beams that run floor to ceiling and prevent any further damage to the wall. The really cool feature about them is that they have a unique tightening feature that allows the system to be tightened periodically, potentially improving the condition of the wall over time. Now this wall that was a major headache has become a non-issue and weight of these homeowners' shoulders. 

We were called when Jennifer noticed a crack outsdie her home. When we went to inspect the issue we noticed there was a very long crack on one side of the corner and another smaller crack on the other side. Since the house was settling in that corner of the house and it was winter, we decided to install Helical Piers. This Comstock Park home is settling in the back and is causing some issues to the home. The corner where the home is settling has cracked brick and some spots are look as if they are deteriorating. The floors in the home are unlevel now as well and the homeowners want to make sure they do not get worse. We used Helical Piers to solve their issues. Helical Piers have plates that help to pull the pier into stable soil and provide anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation is transferred to the pier. The piers stabilize the foundation but can also help lift the settled foundation back to the original level.
