Basement Waterproofing in Taylor, WI
Julie and Brian B. of Taylor, WI had water leaking into their basement, making them worry about water damage, flooding hazards, and other problems. They knew of an employee at American Waterworks, so they set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Tim Schneider. Tim went to their home, carefully inspected their basement, and came up with a solution that worked for them and their home repair needs. They were confident in Tim's drawn out design and his proposal, so they signed the contract and followed through with the project.
Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed 146 feet of our WaterGuard System, which is made to collect water seepage from basement walls, prevent water clogs, and serve as an underground drain in connection to the sump pump. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the basement wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace System is made to prevent mold and humidity, keep water from invading the basement, and direct leaking water into the WaterGuard. To complete the installation, Kiko and his crew covered all the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it, leaving the basement looking much neater than when they found it. Julie and Brian were grateful we were able to help them and were amazed by the transformation!
