Cracked, Bowing Walls Repaired in Tomah, WI
A homeowner in Tomah, WI, noticed their walls were uneven and cracked. Worried about the structure of their home, the homeowner began looking into "foundation repair near Tomah, WI". One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. After reviewing our impressive before and after photo albums, the homeowner knew we were the best company for their project. Since they were already on the website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Chuck. Following his arrival, Chuck began his thorough inspection of the home. During the inspection, Chuck found that several walls were beginning to bow inward. To prevent the bowing from continuing, Chuck recommended installing CarbonArmor strips onto the walls. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Chuck's proposal. Once our Logistics team received the plans, they built and scheduled the project. The project was scheduled for the following months. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Diego and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Diego and his crew began by ensuring the walls were prepared for the installation. Next, Diego and his crew attached CarbonArmor strips to the damaged, bowing walls. Once the CarbonArmor strips were secured, the crew completed the project and cleaned up their materials. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew, so they left a kind review.
CleanSpace and WaterGuard Keep Viroqua, WI Basement Dry
Cy S. in Viroqua, WI contacted American Waterworks because he had water in his basement and his new addition. He met with one of our Design Specialists, who proposed that the best solution was to install a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system and a SuperSump sump pump.
Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. They removed a section of the concrete floor around the perimeter and created a drainage trench. The WaterGuard is then placed within the trench and filled back with rock to fill the gaps. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to protect the room from moisture and potential mold growth. The encapsulation system will now guide water leaking in through the foundation walls and redirect it to their WaterGuard perimeter floor drainage system and ultimately drain into the SuperSump sump pump. Cy is pleased that his basement is now a dry, healthier space and he is glad he chose to invest in the long-term protection of his home.
