A homeowner from Onalaska, WI, had been keeping an eye on his failing garage wall for some time. Over the years, the blocks had begun to separate, causing the wall to bow inward. When the side pressure on the wall exceeds what it can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, bowing, sliding in at the bottom of the wall, and/or tilting inward at the top. Michel went on to say that he had the perfect solution: our GeoLock anchors. He explained that these innovative anchors counteract soil pressure by anchoring the wall to the hard-packed, undisturbed soil beyond the foundation. Thanks to threaded rods that extend through the wall to connect the two anchors, wall anchors can even be used to straight walls in many cases. The homeowner needed some time to think about Michel's proposal but eventually signed on for the job.
