A property manager in Eau Claire, WI, noticed stair-step cracking along the basement of the home and was concerned for its stability. Dustin explained that Geolock is installed by first digging a hole into the hard-packed soil that is several feet away from the foundation. An earth anchor is then placed in that hole and is attached to the interior wall. Both wall plates would be connected by a small steel pole, which would run through the ground. This system prevents basement walls from continuing to move and can be tightened to straighten walls over time. The homeowner happily agreed to Dustin's recommendation and decided to move forward with the project.

In about two months, our Foreman, Luis D., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew installed a total of 11 GeoLock anchors. Once they were done with the installation, the crew cleaned up their workspace and equipment before leaving the home.

Our production team started the installation process by drilling holes into the brick wall and inserting long metal rods that go into the soil outside of the home. Then, the rod is secured with anchors on each end. Once they tightened the anchors, the wall started to straighten.
