A homeowner in Hendricks, MN, noticed a musty odor around their home. After some investigating, the homeowner discovered the odor was coming from their crawl space. Worried this smell would worsen, the homeowner knew they needed to find a professional to repair their crawl space. After comparing several companies, the homeowner's eye was caught by one company, American Waterworks. The homewoner signed up for their FREE estimate and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Mac, to the home to take a closer look. Mac completed the thorough inspection of the crawl space and recommended encapsulating the entire area. The homeowner agreed, and they worked with Mac to schedule the project. Next, the plans were sent to our Field Supervisor, Rene, and his crew. First, Rene and his crew laid Drainage Matting on the basement floor. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace on the floors and walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was given peace of mind knowing their crawl space was properly repaired. Matt L. of Lismore, MN had water leaking into his basement and underneath the carpet, making him feel nervous living in his own home. He called American Waterworks and set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton. Eric went to his home to inspect the basement and come up with a solution. Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his team started the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard System, which collects water seepage from basement walls and serves as an underground drain that leads to outside. Next, our team installed our Basement to Beautiful Wall Panels around the wall perimeter. These panels are made to provide a dry and energy-efficient basement, and it creates a warm, protective blanket that will never rot and or support mold growth. To complete the installation, our crew laid a rock in the open gaps and replaced the concrete, leaving the basement looking neater than when they found it. Matt was extremely happy with the project and was grateful we were able to assist his home repair needs! 

Brittany, from Courtenay, ND, had experienced water in her basement too many times to count. It was getting frustrating, and she wanted a permanent solution to restore her peace of mind and make her space livable again. Our Foreman, Tanner, and his crew started the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system, and our SuperSump Plus pump. Water now drains through the WaterGuard into the sump pump. The team also implemented our LawnScape Outlet, which is a pipe buried from the downspout that lets water outside onto the surface of the lawn while camouflaging the end of the pipe. This helps get water away from the exterior of the home. Lastly, the crew finished the project by filling the gaps with rock, replacing the concrete, and cleaning up their work area. Design Specialist, Dylan, completed the inspection and returned with a possible solution. Dylan recommended the WaterGuards be placed around the perimeter of the basement. The homeowners consented and the project began. To properly install the WaterGuard, the crew began by demolishing the fireplace. Then, the crew dug out and installed the WaterGuard. Following the WaterGuard installation, Foamax was installed on the basement walls. The crew completed the construction successfully.
