Rita H. in Rockford, IA was tired of dealing with a wet basement after every heavy rain and snow melt. It was starting to cause damage to her home, and she knew she needed to find a permanent solution. She contacted American Waterworks, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Pete Wangen, to meet with her and propose a unique solution for her home. 

Our Foreman, Austin Lucas, and his production crew installed 112 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement, and our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, and from there, it is expelled from the home. Rita was happy with the results, and glad she chose to invest in the long-term protection of her home. 

A homeowner in Elk Mound, WI wanted to stablize the floor joist  and increase the efficiency of the home by encapsulating the crawlspace.

Brent B. of Stewartville, MN wanted to have an Egress Window installed. They found American Waterworks on HomeAdvisor, so they scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Foreman, Jose C., and his crew excavated the soil around the foundation, broke out the foundation wall, and installed our Egress Window and RockWell Window Well. Our Egress Windows are designed to allow a safe exit out of the home, provide a more inviting entrance to the basement, and bring in more fresh air. Our RockWell Window Well is a one-piece construction that is made for safety and is a great alternative to ugly window windows. To complete the project, our crew backfilled and compacted the soil, ensuring the space was neater and cleaner than when they found it.

A homeowner from Stewartville, MN contact us when they began to notice unwanted cold air entering their crawl space, creating an energy inefficient space. When they called in, we set them up with our FREE estimate, entitling them to a thorough inspection by one of our System Design Specialists, Pete. After Pete finished his walkthrough, he made his recommendations as to how we could help. He wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address any unwanted water, as well as aid in making the space more energy efficient. The homeowners quickly agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew ended up installing over 1,400 sq ft of our CleanSpace throughout the crawl space with no hassle. They ended the project by spraying any remaining holes or joints with our spray foam. Now our customer can head into the winter months without worrying about their crawl space costing extra money!  

Miriam B. of Stacyville, IA had water leaking into her basement causing her to worry about mold growth and health concerns. She called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Jared Bruns. Jared went to her home, carefully diagnosed the water issues, and came up with a solution that fit her home repair needs. Our Foreman, Jeromy Anderson, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water clogs, acts as an underground drain, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity problems, cover any divots or holes, and provides a neat and clean appearance. To complete the project, our team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Miriam was thrilled with the work and had a great experience from start to finish with our crew!
