Miaoqian L. of Hatton, ND had water leaking from their pre-existing sump pump and wanted to get it replaced with something new and more efficient. After hearing about American Waterworks, they got in contact with our office staff, so we set him up for a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian Schultz. Ian went to their house to take a look at the existing sump pump and come up with a solution that fit their needs. Miaoqian got all of their questions answered, so they followed through with the project. 

Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his crew began the project by breaking out the concrete around the pre-existing sump pump and replacing it with our SuperSump sump pump. Our SuperSump is made to keep basements clean and dry for long periods of time. To complete the small installation, our crew applied new concrete around the sump pump. Miaoqian was happy with the results and the final touch!

Jeremy K. of Starbuck, MN had water leaking into his basement, causing him to worry about water moisture and damage to his personal property. He got in contact with our office staff at American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Shane went to his home, inspected his problems, and drew up a well-designed solution. Our Foreman, Tremaine Jackson, and his team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is an underground drain that prevents water and mud clogs, collects water seepage from basement walls, and works efficiently with the sump pump. To complete the work, Tremaine and his team filled the open gaps with rock and pea gravel and applied new concrete over it. Jeremy was ecstatic with the outcome of the project and had a positive experience!

A Sleepy Eye, MN, homeowner was struggling with a damp basement after heavy rainfall. Not wanting the issue to worsen, he decided to begin the search for a basement waterproofing company in Minnesota. Once he found our website, he decided to sign up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan W, headed out to the home. 

After Dylan arrived, he got right to work assessing the basement and trying to find the source of the leaking. Once Dylan completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Dylan explained that the water was entering the home through cracks in the floor, and therefore, he wanted to address the situation with several of our products: WaterGuard, TripleSafe Sump Pump, and our AprilAire dehumidifier. Dylan elaborated, explaining that these products would work closely together to keep the basement dry. Any water entering the basement through the floor would immediately be caught by the WaterGuard, an award-winning below-floor drain that lays on top of the footing of the foundation to catch unwanted water, directing it to the appropriate disposal site, which would be the TripleSafe. Our TripleSafe is our most reliable sump pump, boasting three levels of protection for your basement. The TripleSafe has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over. This powerful machine creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity. The homeowner liked the sound of the approach and scheduled the job to be completed a few weeks later. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Lane, and his team ended up installing 136 ft of our WaterGuard around the perimeter of the space, along with 1 TripleSafe sump pump, and 1 AprilAire E100. Now our customer can enjoy his basement without worrying about water intrusion! 

In Rothsay, MN, a homeowner noticed a musty smell coming from their crawl space. After noticing it was mold, the homeowner began looking into crawl space encapsulation services in the area and contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate.

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Ian S., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection. During the inspection, he took a close look at the crawl space, determined the humidity levels, and worked closely with the homeowner to create a custom solution. To stop further mold growth and decrease the humidity levels in the crawl space, Ian recommended installing Drainage Matting, which would rest on top of the ground and is meant to direct any water in the crawl space to the drain system, and CleanSpace, our vapor liner that prevents water vapor from permeating the ground. After looking over the proposal and having confidence in our team, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Franklin O., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew successfully installed 135 sqft of Drainage Matting and 150 sqft of CleanSpace.
