Tim and Jerry A. of Wood Lake, MN had a gap between their garage floor and their garage wall. They needed to find a foundation repair contractor that could pull their wall toward their garage floor. Our Foreman and his crew installed four of our wall anchors to pull the foundation wall closer to the garage floor. This system is installed by galvanized anchors, steel rods, and anchor plates, which provides the clamping pressure needed to bring the wall back to its natural position. Tim and Jerry were happy with the work that was done and couldn't believe that their wall was finally back to normal!

Jerry T. in Granite Falls, MN noticed that one of his garage foundation walls had a large exterior crack and it was bowing outward. He was concerned that the damaged wall was putting too much pressure on his foundation and did not want to get stuck in a situation where he had to replace the entire foundation. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we had one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, go to his home to develop the right solution unique to Jerry’s home. Jerry was pleased to hear that we could permanently secure his foundation by installing wall anchors, so he scheduled to have our foundation repair system installed.

Our production team started the installation process by drilling long metal rods into the soil underneath the garage floor and through the block foundation wall. They removed small rectangles of concrete from the garage floor where they would secure the other end of the rods. They screwed anchor plates on to the rods and tightened them as far as they would go. Lastly, they replaced the concrete in the garage and cleaned up. The process was quick and efficient. Jerry was very pleased with the results and is glad he chose to protect his foundation by having it permanently repaired.

A homeowner in Aneta, ND was concerned about the condition of her foundation.
