Perham, MN Radon Mitigation System Installation

A homeowner in Perham, MN, had learned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US. Concerned that their family was breathing in the toxic fumes, the homeowner decided to test the radon levels in their home. After a couple of days, the test results were above 4pCi/L, and the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate. 

In less than a week, Jackson P., our Radon Sales and Service Technician from our Fargo, ND branch, arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, he took a close look at the layout of the home and worked closely with the homeowner on the best placement for our radon mitigation system. After they came to an agreement, the installation date was scheduled.

In about a month, Jackson arrived back at the home for the installation. Once the system was successfully installed, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Basement Waterproofed in Eden Valley, MN

Reeny and Maureen of Eden Valley, MN had water leaking through the floor of their unfinished basement and they wanted to get it fixed before it became a bigger problem. They did some research on Google and came across American Waterworks and our basement waterproofing repairs. They called our office line to set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas. Dylan went to their home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. Reeny and Maureen were confident with the proposal, so they went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Edgar Miranda, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed 64 feet of our WaterGuard Drainage System. Our WaterGuard is one of the most efficient waterproofing repair products. It acts as an underground drain, collects water from basement walls and prevents water clogs. To complete the project, Edgar and his team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Reeny and Maureen were happy with the work and no longer have to worry about water leaking into their basement! 

Windows Replaced in Pemberton, MN

Karen E. of Pemberton, MN had water leaking through the windows of her basement and needed them replaced with more protection. After doing some research on the American Waterworks website, she called and got her FREE Estimate scheduled. Our Design Specialist, Jeremy Girgen, went to her home to inspect the windows and come up with a solution. Karen was confident with the proposal, so she scheduled the installation. 

Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production crew broke out the concrete around the existing windows and installed our EverLast Basement Windows, which provide much more protection and energy efficiency. Hugo and his crew applied new concrete around the windows to complete the project. Karen was very happy, and the project was done within a day!

Wet Crawl Space Fixed in Darwin, MN

A homeowner in Darwin, MN, knew it was time to peek at the crawl space underneath their home. Once they saw the status of their crawl space, they knew they needed a professional to check for any possible damage. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner began to look within a 200-mile radius of their home. Near the top of their list was us, American Waterworks. Our high ratings and reviews caught the homeowner's eye, so they decided to call our Appointment Center and sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists. The Design Specialist arrived at the home and started their thorough inspection of the crawl space. Following his inspection, the Design Specialist determined the crawl space required encapsulation. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they decided to follow along with the suggestion. After they received the stamp approval from the homeowner and the office, they were passed along to our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew. Kiko and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, the crew started by removing all the debris from the crawl space. Once the space was cleared, the crew shifted their focus to laying the Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Next, the crew installed CleanSpace in the crawl space floors and walls. Additionally, the crew was asked to wrap the piers in the crawl space. Finally, the crew installed the Everlast crawl space door cover for the crawl space. Once all the products were installed, the crew could clean up their materials and leave the home. Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his crew began the project by breaking out the concrete around the pre-existing sump pump and replacing it with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Our TripleSafe is made to keep basements dry for long periods of time, it provides three levels of protection, and it solves all three water problems in one system. To finish the project, our team applied new concrete around the sump pump.
