The homeowner agreed and the production preparations began. Our Foreman, Francisco and his crew were assigned to complete the project. First, the crew began by taking out the old sump pump. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew could dig a feedline from the center of the basement to where the new sump pump will be placed. Next, the crew installed the SuperSump + and attached the IceGuard on the outside discharge lines. The crew completed the projects without any issues. A Sleepy Eye, MN, homeowner was struggling with a damp basement after heavy rainfall. Not wanting the issue to worsen, he decided to begin the search for a basement waterproofing company in Minnesota. Once he found our website, he decided to sign up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan W, headed out to the home. 

After Dylan arrived, he got right to work assessing the basement and trying to find the source of the leaking. Once Dylan completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Dylan explained that the water was entering the home through cracks in the floor, and therefore, he wanted to address the situation with several of our products: WaterGuard, TripleSafe Sump Pump, and our AprilAire dehumidifier. Dylan elaborated, explaining that these products would work closely together to keep the basement dry. Any water entering the basement through the floor would immediately be caught by the WaterGuard, an award-winning below-floor drain that lays on top of the footing of the foundation to catch unwanted water, directing it to the appropriate disposal site, which would be the TripleSafe. Once Shane arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began the crawl space inspection. Shane discovered that the foundation was failing and needed to be permanently stabilized. Additionally, he found that the crawl space should be encapsulated. Shane told the homeowner of his findings and also provided them with a solution to revive the crawl space. The homeowner agreed with the plan of action and production commenced. Our Foreman Raul, and his crew traveled to the home and started by making sure the crawl space was ready for the PowerBrace installation. The crew installed eighteen PowerBraces around the entire crawl space perimeter. Once the PowerBraces were installed, the crew laid the Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Next, the crew installed CleanSpace on the crawl floor to cover the Drainage Matting. Foamax is installed on the crawl space walls to ensure the crawl space stays insulated. Finally, the crew put the TripleSafe sump pump in place in the corner of the crawl space. The homeowner was amazed by the crawl space transformation.
