Sump Pump Troubles Resolved in Champlin, MN
A homeowner in Champlin, MN, began hearing odd noises coming from their basement. Unsure of the source, the homeowner searched throughout their basement. Finally, the homeowner found that the source of the sound was their outdated sump pump. Worried about the long-term effects this could have, the homeowner began looking for a professional solution. Unsure of who to work with, the homeowner asked a friend who had similar issues in the past. Their friend recommended working with us, American Waterworks. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After their estimates were set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Nick. Once he arrived, Nick introduced himself to the homeowner and began inspecting the status of the sump pump. Nick wrapped up the inspection and determined that the sump pump needed to be replaced. Additionally, Nick recommended installing WaterGuard and attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. The homeowner agreed with Nick's suggestions and the plans were sent to the office for approval. Once they were approved, they were sent to our Foreman, Diego, and his crew. Diego and his crew started the project by taking out the old sump pump. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew dug channels and put the WaterGuard into place. Next, they secured the SuperSump+ into place and tied it to the WaterGuard system. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the walls. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to assist its customers with their sump pump issues.
Wet Basement Restored in Excelsior, MN
Danielle O. in Excelsior, MN had water leaking into her basement causing damage to her carpet, floors, and home. She tired of dealing with a wet basement and was concerned about the health implications it could cause, so she contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, went to her home to inspect her basement and design a unique solution to fit her needs. Danielle was pleased with the proposal and was eager to have the waterproofing system installed, so she scheduled the installation.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his crew installed 61 feet of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the room and a SuperSump sump pump in the corner. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to protect the room from moisture and potential mold growth. The WaterGuard properly drains water to the sump pump and from there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Danielle is pleased that her basement is now a dry, healthier space and she is glad she chose to invest in the long-term protection of her home.

Leaky Basement Updated In Bethel, MN
Ave, a homeowner from Bethel, MN, reached out to our team because she was having issues with water continually leaking into the basement around the edge of the floor. The moisture along the walls was concerning to her, and so she wanted an expert to look at the situation and provide a FREE estimate.
We sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution for her home. After the inspection, Shane recommended a combination of our waterproofing products. Ave approved the plan and moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Lane Schlobohm, and his crew arrived at the home and promptly got to work. The team began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench. Then, they laid the WaterGuard in the trench. The wide-open design of this drain helps it resist clogs, while a removable lid allows for easy access and maintenance. Our drain system is custom-designed to protect and help keep your basement dry all the time! The team then installed a SuperSump sump pump. They filled the gaps with rock and replaced the concrete around the sump pump and over the WaterGuard. Water now properly drains to the sump pump through the WaterGuard. The water is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Ave's peace of mind has been restored, and she can now enjoy a dry, healthier basement for years to come!

Sunken Walkway Lifted in Maple Grove, MN
A homeowner from Maple Grove, MN, had been aware of her front concrete walkway slowly settling over the years. She feared that if she let the problem worsen, it might be more costly to fix down the road. She had no idea who to turn to for concrete repairs near Maple Grove, MN. She hopped on the internet and eventually found our website. She was impressed with our past work in the area, so she signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Gary, headed out to the home.
Gary inspected the concrete, and when he finished his inspection, he informed the homeowner that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs. It slowly fills voids left by soil erosion and, in the process, lifts the concrete back to it's desired location. Gary went on to say that he recommended sealing off the concrete with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete and acts as a barrier to keep unwanted moisture out. The homeowner agreed with Gary's recommendations and scheduled the job on the spot.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Dylon V, headed out to the home and was able to complete the lift and seal with no complications. Now, our customer can put her worries about her concrete behind her!
