Following a series of heavy thunderstorms, a homeowner in Faribault, MN, discovered their basement was suffering significantly. Our Foreman, Lane Schlobohm, and his production team started the work by installing our CleanSpace Half Wall System Vapor Barrier around the basement wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and mildew, and it acts as an extra wall protectant. Next, our team installed our DryTrak Drain Pipe System, which is permanently installed above the floor. Our crew drilled a weep hole through each foundation block to enable the water to pour through the holes and into the drain pipe. The installation only took one day and Matt was happy with the work that was completed!

Our Foreman and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer. Our team formed a trench and installed our WaterGuard in the trench. Our WaterGuard does not only serve as an interior drainage system. It also prevents mud clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. To complete the installation, our Foreman and his crew filled the open gaps with small rocks and applied a new layer of concrete over them.
