Uneven Floor Gets Fixed in New Ulm, MN

A New Ulm, MN, homeowner was enjoying a quiet morning at home when he walked across his main level floor and noticed an area that appeared to be sagging lower than the rest. She was uneasy about what this could mean for the home's structural integrity, and decided to look into Minnesota foundation contractors. When she found our website, she signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan W, headed out to the home.

When Dylan arrived at the home, he was directed down to the crawl space, where he would spend much of his inspection. When Dylan finished, he circled back with the homeowners to deliver his findings. Dylan explained that the crawl space could benefit from extra support, which he recommended to be our SmartJack system. The SmartJack crawl space stabilizer is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. It's unique in that it's made with strong, corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel. Because this system will not develop results, it will remain adjustable for years should further adjustments be needed down the road. The homeowner loved the idea of having a system that could be adjusted down the road and decided to schedule the project.

On the day of the installation, our team, led by their Foreman, Francisco E, was able to effortlessly install 2 of our SmartJacks. Now, our customers has a renewed sense of peace in her largest investment!

Leaky Basement Walls Get a Solution in Glencoe, MN

A homeowner from Glencoe, MN, had been suffering from a damp basement for some time. She no longer wanted to deal with the problem and decided to find a basement waterproofing company near Glencoe, MN. Through extensive internet searches, the homeowner quickly found our website and signed up for her FREE estimate.

A few weeks later, Eric H, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home. When Eric finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. First, Eric recommended our CleanSpace vapor barrier, a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets installed directly onto the walls of the basement, functioning to direct water entering through the wall, downward, and into a perimeter drain, our WaterGuard. This unique French drain gets installed below the basement floor, atop the footing of the foundation, giving the water entering down from the CleanSpace, and coming up from the floor, a channel to flow freely to a pre-installed sump system. The homeowner was thrilled with Eric's explanation and solution and signed on the spot.

Several weeks later, our Foreman, Jesus C, and his crew were out at the home. At the end of the project, our team effortlessly installed 136 sqft of CleanSpace, and 136 sqft of WaterGuard. Now, our customer can breathe easy knowing her basement is properly defended against unwanted water!

Moisture Collection in Winthrop, MN Basement

Andrew in Winthrop, MN had water leaking through his block foundation where the wall meets the floor. He had a working sump pump already in place, but without a drainage system the water had no way to reach the pump. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to his home to develop a solution for Andrew. Our Specialist recommend having our WaterGuard drainage system installed and connected to the sump pump.

Andrew agreed with this solution, so our production crew started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard. Then, they laid the WaterGuard drainage system and filled back the gaps with rock. They connected the drainage system into the existing sump pump and then replaced the concrete. This process only took a day to complete, and now Andrew is enjoying a dry, healthier basement.
